I am literally gonna get through as many fandom OTPs as i can remember be prepared.

FF series: (7) Cloud/TIfa, ZACK/AERITH, (Dissidia) Cloud/Terra (LOL), (6) Weirdly Sabin/Terra, Locke/Celes kinda but not really, (9) Zidane/Garnet ofc, VIVI/HAPPINESS but ok Eiko was cute too, OH Steiner/Beatrix (10) Tidus/Yuna for a bit, but that one wasn't my fav.

Pokemon: Srsly was there anything other than Ash/Misty? Gary was a punk.

Digimon: I don't think I had an active OTP until YamatoSora became canon and then I was like YEAH OK I DIG IT. And then in my third or fourth trip back to Adventure TAICHI/MIMI and MIMI/EVERYONE and TAIORATO. Oh wait I lied my first Digimon OTP is Ryo/Ruki from Tamers. Ken/Miyako was great too! And yes ultimately I thought no one would be better for each other than Hikaru/Takeru even tho I didn't quite ship them actively as much as just liked the together thematically.

CCS: Sakura/Syaoran OFC, Eriol/Tomoyo (bc who wouldn't), MEILING/KAI (who was a fan character BUT DAMN HE WAS SO FINE)

Harry Potter: JAMES/LILY MAN. I will forever hate the Snape/Lily plot. Also MWPP where Peter is less of an obvious scapegoat bc man his character could've been, again, so much more interesting if he was an actual friend, not a follower, and why he ultimately turned to the dark side and ugh. It's also kinda...HMMM that the only traitor was also supposed to not be attractive. What is that term where outsides connote insides? Yeah, that's lame. But I was also staunchly Ron/Hermione after book 4 and before she turned Ron into a shell of his former self... > >

Shaman King: Yoh/Anna FOREVER.

One Piece: I have a soft spot for Luffy/Nami or Zoro/Nami

Naruto: U G H GROSS SOBBING BC THE ENDING WAS GROSS. I love how I usually start shipping the popular pairings, bc so much good fanstuff is made for them, but ultimately I sunk with Naruto/Sakura and Naruto as a series no longer exists for me. So.

Gundam Seed: DESTINY DOES NOT EXIST and Athrun/Cagalli is forever perfect. Kira/Lacus is cool too but ATHRUN/CAGALLI THO. This was probably my most prolific fandom right before JE. LOL.

Dragon Ball: I read SOOOOOO MUUUUUCH Trunks/Pan fanfic omg. HAHAHA. I think I also liked Bra/Goten even tho that's falls into weird territory. Also the canon couples amirite. This is how you do random pairings without turning your series to garbage. TIME SKIP AND NO DUMB ROMANCE SHOUJO MOVIE.
Ranma 1/2: Ranma/Akane cmon, tho again I wish she wasn't such a tsundere/tomboy burns water stereotype. BUT REALLY I loved Ryoga/Ukyo's dynamic, and ofc Shampoo/Mousse.

Inuyasha: Kagome got on my nerves so I was more in the Miroku/Sango camp.

Rurouni Kenshin: Kenshin/Kaoru but damn too many tsundere girls who are reduced to being useless so their men look better in comparison. DO BETTER JAPAN.

PPG: PPG/RRB maaaaaaan. I drew so much fanart when the anime was starting and then the anime ended up being shit I heard (never watched it). I WILL REC THE ULTIMATE FIC FOR THIS SERIES AGAIN IF SOMEONE WANTS.

Soul Eater: Maka/Soul forever but damn did I warm to the idea of Kid/Maka.

FULL METAL ALCHEMIST: Literally every couple that became canon and every couple that pretty much was canon and THIS IS HOW YOU WRITE RELATIONSHIPS IN THE BACKDROP OF AN ACTION SERIES, JAPAN!!!

Wow at this point I'm checking my old FF.net account to see what I actually wrote for LOL.

DETECTIVE CONAN: Yoooo, IDC what haters say Shinichi/Ran. And also their Kyoto counterparts are SO CUTE. ALSO KAITO/AOKO. Damn I miss these 3-chapter murder mysteries where the main story moves at a snail's pace.

JDramas: Akira to Nobuta (to Shuuji) forever. ;_______; Also Kurosagi/fan written!Tsurarara. YES TO NAKATSU/MIZUKI altho I shipped him with her friend in the manga and WHAT A WASTE SHE NEVER CAME BACK.

Shit there must be so much more bc I was SUCH A fandom hopper (CLEARLY)--funnily I never shipped in SM, I just loved the series bc MAGICAL GIRLS.

JE: Special shoutout to Yamapi/Maki man. Even tho everyone began to hate it--it started so much for me.

CCS OF COURSE IT WAS SAKURA/SYAORAN. and Eriol/Tomoyo. DEF THE BEST. hilariously though, my fav character was Meiling (hence why I went by Meiling for years and years and years), and i wanted her to be so so happy but had no one to ship her with. ....Now who is kai?

Ranma 1/2 YES I FORGOT ALL ABOUT THIS ANIME. I loved it in high school and def shipped Ranma/Akane. like come on.

FMA FMA FMA yes, definitely ALL THE CANON RELATIONSHIPS. so fucking cute.

wait there were haters for shinichi/ran?????? come on guys. that's like the crux of the whole thing. i just want this manga to be done so that we can FIND OUT HOW IT FUCKING ENDS ALREADY. I love those mysteries though and hahaha yes their kyoto counterparts were the fucking cutest.

YES. And ofc I knew about your Meiling love you were way cooler than me in that regard. That said, there was a SPRAWLING EPIC CCS fanfic with dozens of new characters. I started reading in like...7th grade? But it held up even sometime when I went back to read in college. It's probably still not complete, but there's a thief character named Kai in it and he has SO MUCH CHEMISTRY WITH MEILING they are canon for me. FMA is still the best series whose primary focus wasn't about romantic relationships that handled romantic (and familial, friendly, ALL RELATIONSHIPS) so perfectly!!!

YES. like OK you can prefer Shinichi/Ai if you want, and yeah Ran cries a bit too much for my tastes, but cmon she is so great and does akido and SHE LOVES HIM SO MUCH OK.

I just wanted Tsurara with a spine and a Kurosagi who was less angsty and more tongue-in-cheek. WAS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR?
