[#110] I don't know how long I can keep this up...
...posting regularly that is, but I'll try for as long as I can. :D When I was looking through last year's entries (hahaha, still weird that I can say this), I didn't see much. Which is kind of sad. D: So this year, more of a vow to be regular! ♥♥ (Only problem is when I've done absolutely nothing, but er. that's what media is for? lol)
i. Nikita came back tonight! I missed little bits of the beginning because the puppies were practically running rampant in the house. But as soon as I settled in, it was like I hadn't stopped moving. There was so much action, so much running around doing things that I barely had time to process what was going on. I do have to say that I totally thought that the mother wasn't as "innocent" as she looked--I mean, there's a fucking reason they kept her alive, and I figured Semak (sp?) kept her around for a reason. I suppose I should've seen the affair coming, but we didn't really know enough for me to assume. I did not see that she would think like they all do that Alex was kept alive so that she could be brainwashed, but it made perfect sense. Seeing Alex's reactions though as she listens over the phone broke my heart a little.
But it was super fucking awesome seeing Alex and Nikita back in action together. Their escape from the mansion was all sorts of fabulous, because it just reminds us how good the two worked together. When it's just them at their element. I LOVE THE KICK-ASSNESS OF IT ALL. *____________* Also awesome was just Nikita rescuing Alex from the car. Like seriously, how fucking cool is this woman? I don't even know. And her determination to save Alex's mom, it was totally understandable and all Nikita. It was a nice bang to start the second half of the season. *_______*
Then there's Owen/Michael's side. Which, wait, so they burned all the black boxes that were left, right? Does that mean that the one with Ari and Semak (sp?!) is the only one left? Or am I blanking on anything in particular? Michael's hair was kind of horrid but I'm not the biggest fan of that wet, I look kind of gelled but not, look. XDDDD I don't even know. His plan to infiltrate the meeting was pretty damn good (faking the blood was kind of disgusting--seeing him inject it into his finger) but damn them for being doubly cautious. And they're fucking going to New York which is where headquarters is now, right? (Unless I'm forgetting--which is possible.) So ofc, we will be seeing the guardians again. >.> I was about to type we have only two left, but technically Owen and Michael didn't kill the one in the alleyway so we'll probably see him somehow. XD (Unless I'm wrong. Which again, happens often.) The fight scene was all sorts of awesome. Hysterical at the end though when Michael said to Owen, "I hate to say it, but I wish you were on the regiment still." XDDDD And Owen basically saying, "I know, me too." XDDDDD It was nice seeing them work together, but then sadly, there wasn't enough--granted there was so much more of the Alex/Nikita so you know what, nice trade off.
Lastly, there's Ryan/Percy. Um. awkward. First of all, are they going to keep Ryan in Percy's little cell for a bit? Because... >.> I love Ryan and Percy would easily be willing to kill him. I'm just saying. Anyway....I don't really have anything I want to say about this. Other than, RYAN!!!!! *_________* ilu~ Sorely missing from this episode though, sadly, was Birkhoff. But understandable because he wouldn't have tied in anywhere. But still. D: Judging by previews though... ::EXCITE::
Although I'm confused what they're building up to. The next episode seems so action-packed that I'm like, the season finale's not for another couple of months, right? >.> What are we leading up to already? Because in my head, I see them definitely having Alex back as the head of the Udinoff (sp? i am so lazy to check these things right now) corporation and all by the finale. But the rest of them? I have absolutely no idea. But we will see. What are your theories, guys?! (For those few that actually watch Nikita, lol.)
ii. So Jin's tour dates were announced today! 3/9 - LA; 3/10 - Vancouver (holy shit, Canada?!); 3/12 - Honolulu; 3/15 - New York; 3/17 - San Francisco. First of all, why the hell doesn't he just do a sweep instead of back and forth between the coasts? Could they really not get the dates to align? because man, that is sucky travel periods. o.o Second of all, I AM ALL OVER THIS. SO FUCKING EXCITED. I was thinking to myself that maybe this time I'll do standing. But then I think, ahahaha, after a whole year of repeated standing in lines for hours on end, I am basically done with that crap. I don't want to do it again, and would just like to show up as the doors open and be let in without worrying anyone will steal my space, BECAUSE I WILL BE GETTING SEATS, BABY. *____________* This year, if the tickets aren't too much, I'll ask C to come to. She said she would, the next time he had a concert in New York. But if tickets are the same as last year, I may have to not say anything. >.> (Except, HOW COULD I POSSIBLY HOLD IT IN. XDDDDD)
Anyway, I know a bunch of flisters were saying they'd go to New York if Jin went again? Who's up for meeting up!!! *___________* It'll be freaking awesome. ♥♥♥ (I will be the petite awkward one. ::cough::
NOW WHEN ARE WE GOING TO KNOW WHEN TICKETS GO ON SALE? I WILL HAVE TO BE ON TOP OF THAT LIKE I WAS FOR CRAIG. (after all, if i hadn't been, i wouldn't have gotten like EIGHTH row seats. *_____________* GOD, WHY IS IT NOT OCTOBER YET? or march. i could settle for march, lol.)
iii. Lastly in the Kamika universe, I got a jury summons letter today. Hysterical. I've been kind of dreading the point when I'd get this letter because, well, I don't really want to sit in the jury, but you know, things happen. Anyway, it was hysterical primarily because my date was January 18th. This isn't really that big a deal. Except I'm going to Puerto Rico on the 21st. So, I know that there's always a chance I won't be chosen. But I am not willing enough to risk it enough so. going to have to postpone. It's just funny to me that after all this waiting, the first time I get it, I HAVE TO POSTPONE. What the heck. ~_~;; I wanted to just get this all over with. Oye.
P.S. I finally changed my wallpaper from Penn Badgley over to Yamapi. This wallpaper (third down--the purple one) in particular. it's fucking gorgeous. I feel like it's been forever since I've legit fangirled Yamapi--but to be fair, he hasn't been doing work. SO HERE'S TO HOPING THIS YEAR WILL BE DIFFERENT. :D
P.P.S. I went to B&N this morning to buy Cinder by Marissa Meyer. I'M SO EXCITED. I've been wanting to read this since I started following her LJ. I've loved her Sailor Moon fics--her writing in general is amazing. So the fact that she's written fairy tale adaptations, kind of, that are part of a series? I AM SO THERE. *_________* The book is sitting next to me right now, tempting me to read it instead of sleep. XDDDDD It may just win. XDDDD
