...I spent the past hour (and so) catching up on 30+ pages of the hate meme. Why I seem to think I have the time, I don't know. I did discover there's a
JE Exchange timetable! Which I appreciate. also that there seems to be a lot of hate for a subbing comm. whom also rejected me for no reason that I can figure. but whatevs, not butthurt.
So I have prepared this post mentally for the past... I don't even know how many times. And yet.... I don't think I have anything interesting to say.
i. THERE IS TOO MUCH TELEVISION. I have an account on followmy.tv (of course I do. I like lists, damnit you should see my semagic drafts! they'd be so pretty if they were finished. XD) to keep track of the American shows I watch and it's fucking ridiculous how many shows I follow. Mondays are by far the worst, but in general. I practically have a show every day. Until iCarly stops airing new eps next Saturday.
Speaking of iCarly. Sobs and tears at the last episode. I knew it'd happen, and it did, and my heart was broken. DDDDD:
...I need to get more of a life, honestly.
Also, wanted to mention that I watched the first ep of 2 Broke Girls and it wasn't half bad! The ending was a bit cheesy, but the jokes are good. The first 5-10 mins are dirty. Like hysterically dirty. I am all about innuendos. Plus I really like Kat Dennings. So this is definitely a show I want to keep. At least for now, lol.
Oh! Also, I started (and finished) the first season of Franklin and Bash which was OMG, FABULOUS. Franklin/Bash have the gayest greatest bromance ever, and I love how they end every ep talking situations on celebrities they'd like to bone. XD (AKA, "You had one chance to sleep with Scarlett Johansson, but you had to be punched in the face by Mike Tyson. Would you do it?" And no, you cannot sleep with Scarlett and then be punched--Franklin did ask that.) It is fabulous. I love the characters--of course them, but the surrounding ppl are fabulous too. I mean who can kick like Carmen can? (I would link to a gif here, but can't find one, and after a quick look, too lazy to search further.) Also, what show would get Mark-Paul Gosselaar and James Van Der Beek on screen at the same time and have their own little gay bromance? IT WAS FABULOUS BYTHEBY. :DDDDD In other words, THIS IS AN AWESOME SHOW AND I'M SO GLAD IT WAS ALREADY RENEWED. Even though I'll have to wait forever for the second season, lol.
ii.
Speaking of a life though, the next two weeks are rather busy. First this weekend is C's b-day weekend. (lol yes! the whole weekend is hers~ Unintentional because most of her b-day events are on Friday, but Medieval Festival is on Sunday and we always go to that even though we've seen jousting for 3 years in a row and are, for some reason, still not sick of it. lol)
Then on Monday, the 3rd, I not only have work, but have a work dinner event that I have to work at. i better be getting paid damnit. And if my tickets pan out, I have a bunch of free shows to go to from Oct 5 to Oct 16 (I believe?). I only balloted for 5 shows (it's only 5 shows), so here's to hoping! (For New Yorkers, the site is
here. It's called Free Night NYC and currently the first round of balloting is over, but there'll be a second round!)
Then the next weekend, the 8th is my dad's b-day party at our house NOOOOOOOOOO, THE CLEANING. D: and then the 9th is that KBS Music Bank concert (with enough luck) that C is taking me to even though I don't know any Korean bands at all. XDDDDD By the by, I really need to find out more information on this because I know NOTHING right now. ~_~
And that's about it. for now. Just busy busy busy after a rather slow RL September.
iii. I officially became a reviews editor on MDL (mydramalist)!!!!!
... That's essentially it. lol I have like nothing to talk about.
I AM SO BORED. I will probably go stalk the
jekissmeme now.
