...my fic rec list in my scrapbook. I have a txt file with links to all the fics I've been reading and want to rec for the past THREE MONTHS, but I am so lazy to transfer that shit over. T.T
i. Speaking of, once this year is over (and my scrapbook is over), I totally wanna continue my reccing of fics but I want to do it ala
tomomichi and post them in nice lists over at
kakimakuru. *_____________* Since I haven't been writing as much lately, I still want to put that comm to use, and my reading of fic hasn't stopped--in fact, it's kind of expanded BECAUSE i haven't been writing and also expanded because of the MANY FANDOMS I follow. XDDD I am such a fandom whore ever since I've become dedicated to JE. XDDD
ii. I blame this purchase and all my turtle love on Cyn.
BUT THIS IS SO RIDICULOUSLY CUTE, ISN'T IT?1 even if it kind of look like a snail as well, but whatevs.
iii. UGH, CHRONICLES WITH PRODIGAL DAUGHTER. :///////// She's apparently going to be coming here to stay with us for two days. I hope my mom doesn't have much illusions of me entertaining her because. wtfwtfwtf. i hate this. and i bet u anything we will be sharing a room. ughughughughughugh. and yes, i realize i am being ridiculously petty whenever it comes to anything related to prodigal daughter. sigh.
iv. I honestly can't believe that it's already December 20th. I feel like time goes by so much faster now that I'm not in school anymore. In both a good and a bad way. Without school, the days just go by one by one by one and it's hard to keep track. But it's also depressing to realize that 4 months have gone by since summer's end and I feel like I've achieved nothing but getting a ton of media watching under my belt. ://// So weird.
v. And lastly, writing meme stolen from Nikki!
pinkpapyrus's Sparkly Fic Meme
Day One: Write ten lines of dialogue between two characters who had drunken sex last night and are not talking about it. Ever.
Day Two: Write a scene in four sentences in which two characters bond over something that would seem trivial to a passerby.
Day Three: Write seven sentences from the perspective of a passerby witnessing Day Two's scene.
Day Four: Write a character's reaction to someone's love confession in one sentence.
Day Five: Write a scene in eight sentences in which someone's going through his/her version of "It's a Wonderful Life."
Day Six: Write a scene in six sentences in which a character is searching for someone in the last moments of the end of the world.
Day Seven: Write a breakup scene in three sentences without giving the reason for it or using dialogue.
Day Eight: Write two characters' second kiss in two sentences. -
Day Nine: Ask flist for prompts. Write one sentence each for the first five prompts you receive.
Day Ten: Use these lyrics as a prompt: "There's only now/There's only here/Give in to love/Or live in fear" ("Another Day" from RENT) and write a story in nine sentences.
(Super Bonus Challenge: Use a different pairing/character each day.)
I'm totally going try to do different pairings for this, but who knows how well that'll work out.
"Nate, put down the glass."
"It's only one drink, Sophie."
"It's also only 9 AM."
"You've never stopped me before."
"Yes, well, someone ought to."
"I repeat, you've never stopped me before."
"We've become significantly much closer since then."
"...Then shouldn't you join me?"
"Whatever for?"
"So we can become even closer, of course."
It's funny how things work out. This was totally going to be my "P.S." not because OMG, WHO HAS SEEN LEVERAGE?!?!?! *_________* The last minute had my shipper hat SO BLOWN OFF. Although I somewhat saw it coming with the scene between them JUST before that ending scene. :DDDDD
