First of all, I REALLY need to get with the program. I never seem to know when my shows are coming back from hiatus. I almost missed a new episode of NCIS. I need some sort of list that has the dates of every new episode, because without that, I'd miss EVERYTHING. (Such as Bones, House, Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, CSI, ... Others.) Anyway,

Hee! They're making it purposely difficult, I think. I'm just going to wait this season out to see what direction they're taking it. I think I could be happy with either coupling at the end. (Although I totally think they should stick to canon and end it with Tsukasa/Tsukushi.)

I've never watched Meteor Garden. Only because I've been postponing it. And never getting a copy of the actual dorama. I'm WORKING on getting it. But it'll likely take me some time. But I'm definitely interested. And I've heard good things about it. ^_^ (Plus a HYD show? I'm so there.)

And oooooh, the anime was insanely good. Despite being a little strange style in drawing (unless that's only my gripe), and whatnot. I did love it though. I think they did a good job transfering a VERY long manga into an anime. Even IF they ended it strangely.

And... they're HINTING at a Soujirou/Yuki coupling. In the manga, the coupling was handled differently and out of fear of spoiling you, I won't go into it. I don't know how they'll resolve it, but if they stick with the manga... *shrugs* Who knows how it'll go. From the looks of the previews for next week, it seems they might be going on a date! ^_^ Which is adorable.

And Inoue Mao, the girl who plays Tsukushi, does a REALLY good job! I think they picked the right girl to play Tsukushi, honestly.

The fact that it ended in canon as a Tsukasa/Tsukushi is my primary reason for wanting them to do a Rui/Tsukushi, actually. Seeing as how MG2's ended already, I can't wish for it THERE, so I'm wishing for it here. I just think it would be interesting to see HOW the producers would work it out and how circumstances would change and relationships would change. I've heard that the anime/manga ended things as Tsukasa/Tsukushi and then Meteor Garden followed that....So something new would be nice to watch.

Meteor Garden IS good. I mean they kept most of the really good things in the anime/manga and got rid of the stuff I just found annoying (like Sakurako...dude, she was only useful for the beginning part and then...SHE DID NOTHING! For the plot, I mean). On top of which, Shan Chai (Makino Tsukushi) was very....interestingly portrayed. They focused a bit more on how she was very passionate and firey and...well, not your adverage normal, simpering idiotic girl (read: TIG). XD But I loved how every time she's around Hua Zhi Lei (Hanazawa Rui) she turns into this cute shy girl...until he says something that riles her up and then she's all "BE QUIET!" XD

Yeah, I found the drawing a tad strange in the beginnig but...it grew on me, somehow. *shrug* In the beginning I thought Tsukasa looked RIDICULOUS and now I'm all *droolz* XD

I really, really want to see Soujirou/Yuki...they are so insanely CUTE together. I was kinda mad that they didn't bring her back in MG2 but...oh well. At least everytime they showed Xi Men (Soujirou) he was never with a girl hanging off his arm (like he was in the 1st season) and on top of that Mei Zhuo (err, at least I think that's how it's spelled - i.e. Akira) would every now and then ask him how things are going with Xiao You (Yuki) and he'd get this totally sweet smile on his face...

*fangirl squeal* I LOVE that pairing!

I do hope they'll go on an actual date in this Jdrama...It woudl be wicked awesome if they at least did so in ONE of them.

I'm about half way through the HYD anime and I've yet to see any real action regarding Soujirou and Yuki...sure there was that ONE occasion where he flirted with her...

...and that was it. So far anyway. I'm still crossing my fingers that he'll give some indication sometime soon.
