So, to follow up my post from last week about going to the hospital, now C's at the hospital. :///////////
i. So apparently graduating leads to a freaking streak of BAD LUCK because we're only into the SECOND WEEK of graduating and already both C and I have been in the hospital in some capacity. Granted, the only other person I know that graduated this semester was C so I don't know if this applies to everyone but still this fucking sucks. Also, while dehydration does suck, having an inflamed bladder is much much more serious. :////// And that is what C has. This actually started Wednesday morning when she texted me saying she wouldn't be into work that day because she'd been throwing up since 4 in the morning. Now, that was worrying to begin with but C has had a really unfortunate ... well, streak's not the right word but it happens more often than not that she gets food poisoning or the food doesn't agree with her. ...At least that was what she had thought. So anyway, she was going to tough it out like she usually would (because she hates hospitals and emergency rooms and doctors and medicine and well, you get the idea), but around 9, she called me up asking me to ask my mom for advice because she was also getting chest pains. So yeah, that made me worry. Long story short, a lot of phone calls exchanged, I ended up leaving work after an hour and rushing to the Bronx to be with C at this medical center.
Yeah, that turned out to be junk. ://////////// With C's insurance, we found out hours later, mind you that they wouldn't be able to even have a doctor see her until like 4:30 when they'd be like an emergency room or something. We'd been waiting for like three hours by this point and C was so frustrated and in pain that she just wanted to go home. Which I ended up bringing her to, albeit reluctantly. Her dad was home so she insisted I just go home and to the apt I stayed until I was meant to go home with my dad later that night. Turns out she ended up going to the emergency room (which she had really really wanted to avoided) by like 9 PM or so because the pain had gotten too much and well, it's a good thing she went imo. Things could've gotten worse or just something. I'm just glad we at least know what's wrong. That means there can be steps taken to recovery. So yeah, she's staying overnight at the hospital by herself because apparently even her family can't stay overnight. wtf. That's depressing seriously. DDDDDDDD: She may go into surgery tmr, she may not. I don't really know but I'm rooting for her recovery. <333333333
ii. I had actually intended to post about something else (not pictures just yet since I"m still compiling them--slowly, but still XD). So I've been catching up on my podcasts, namely Nobody's Listening because man I've been SO BEHIND and today I listened to
Episode 143, Apology Theme Show where they apologized for things they've done in the past--whether funny or not XD (the not part being directed at John). And it made me think of at least one apology I wanted to share with you guys!
--- So my apology goes out to my 8th grade teachers. Now, I wanna preface this by saying I was a little miss goody two shoes when I was in elementary school. Like painfully so. In the 8th grade, I had this circle of friends made of the smarter kids in our grade level. It was a class of 60 so it was easy to know who were the smarter ones and who weren't. lol Anyway, I went to a small school (if that wasn't obvious enough) and for some reason right next to the two eighth grade classrooms there was this small room that we called the blue room. I have no idea what it's purpose was but it was this tiny room off to the side with about two or three bookcases, a couch and maybe two comfy chairs.
Anyway, it became a kind of thing of ours to constantly feign being sick and tell our teachers we'd go relax in the blue room to get better. So yes, I apologize to my two 8th grade teachers for constantly lying about being sick or helping out a friend who was "sick" just so we could ditch classes. And I apologize to the lady one in particular because we pulled this with her more than the other one (because the guy teacher was scary and I'm sure he could read bullshit easily). XD
so yes, that's my apology! Any apologies you guys want to share? :D
iii. The Glee finale was two days ago and even though parts of the plots made me laugh and question them, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Every song was BRILLIANT and sent shivers down my spine. I'm pretty sure they may have ruined Bohemian Rhapsody to some extent for me (and I LOVE that song) but it was still HYSTERICAL. The Journey medley was so enjoyable and then both the To Sir, With Love and Somewhere Over the Rainbow made me wibble. T.T All through work today I've had those songs on repeat. SO MUCH. It's kind of scary actually.

Like a Prayer (Ignoring the lyrics on the screen. I LOVED this song the best in the Madonna episode, just for the choir.)
(I wanted to put up 4 minutes but that doesn't seem to be on Youtube D: I'd rec that one as well from the Madonna episode)

Don't Rain on my Parade (Rachel! Lea Michele gets a lot of crap for them making her the lead vocals a lot, but it was worth it for this. Also, I'm glad that they continued to have them appear in the audience during Regionals)

Keep Holding On (I wanted both this and Lean On Me but I couldn't find the latter, so just this is fine. Loved loved LOVED this performance. Framed in the episode it's really emotional but it's still awesome on its own.)

So yeah, that was a lot of Glee. lol Probably no point other than me having fun revisiting songs I loved. <3333 Anything I don't have here that you guys think was AWESOME?
iv. This should not go under a cut. Tom Felton on Craig Ferguson. Brilliant interview. Tom Felton was witty, funny and I totally think Craig enjoyed having him on. :DDDD WATCHHHHHHHHHHH~!

v. Fanfic Rec! It's been a while since I've done this individually so to speak. I always stuff it onto my scrapbook (which is mainly the second part of said scrapbook--you'll see how much fic I freaking read in a month! Although lately not so much JE! le gasp) Anyway, this isn't JE, lol. It's actually a Fringe/Pushing Daisies crossover and is just great.
Saving The Best For Last by
laytoncolt. The story's written in a Pushing Daisies' tone and is pitch-freaking-perfect. And if you've ever seen that show... I would never want to imitate its tone out of fear of getting it wrong. This writer did it PERFECTLY. It sounds just like them. Plus the possible connection between the two sounds totally plausible. <333 Adored it and kind of itched for more actually! Just a great read. :D
Okay this post is long enough. XD Heading to bed as its 12:30. I came home early so I could sleep early and oh look, that didn't work so much as planned. Whoops.
P.S. I watched Mythbusters for the first time yesterday. LOVED IT. Wish I'd watched it sooner because now I don't know how I'm ever going to be able to watch all 8 seasons SOMEHOW.
P.P.S. ...I can't remember what I wanted this point to be. Oh wells.
