♥ Um, in combination to my last post which was like a longer time than I thought. My parents (and grandmother) congratulated me on possibly graduating with honors. T.T I almost teared up right then and there. ;alsdfjaksdfj (Yes it is that groundbreaking to me. XD)
♥ I'm behind on all my TV media. T.T Well most. I have the episodes for FlashForward, Supernatural, and CSI on my iPod. a;sldkfjalsj Need to watch them when I have time. SIGH. (Which isn't going to be much this week considering how much crap I have to do.
♥ Before I go into school, the shows I DID see. Some brief comments:
- Fringe: Loved the Brown Betty episode. if only for the Astrid/Olivia scenes, Peter/Olivia scenes and well, the WHOLE SCENARIO. I have a very big weekness for noir detective and oh god, it was just brilliant. *_________* Anna Torv with her hair curly like it was was just hot. a;lsdkfjlkj The whole episode, I had so much love for it. ♥♥
- NCIS: This episode was WIN all because of Gibbs and having to take the polygraph test. :DDDD I loved Fornell watching on and CACKLING in the background. What a little bastard, but I love him anyway.
- NCIS: LA: UM. CAN WE KEEP DEEKS FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER? Because I love him and his wittiness and his awkwardness and his flirting with Kenzie. ♥♥ "maybe kenzie gets in cause she's hot. I'm just saying, don't make it weird." GIGGLE. Too bad he's likely not going to be in the next ep or so because he's going back under cover. So says the most recent ep. DDDDD:
♥ Let's see... (Using my twitter as a guide), Wednesday night I went to go see "Enjoy," that play that was translated over from Japanese about part-time workers at a manga cafe. I had to go see a play (and review it) for Drama Workshop anyway, and I had a morbid curiosity for this play so I decided to kill two birds with one stone. It was a little hard to follow at the beginning because the dialogue went on and on and on and it was hard to get a grasp of what they were trying to say. I swear to God they bottled up awkwardness and released it on stage. Plus the actors talked to the audience a lot. It was kind of off-putting but it worked for the play. Another weird point on dialogue, they referred to themselves in third person often. SO BIZARRE. I don't know. ;alskdfjasd Just yeah. Well, it was okay. The second half of the play, to me, was so much better than the first.
♥ OH. Just got up to the section about my tweets on Hitsudan Hostess which was a drama special starring Kitagawa Keiko where she plays a deaf girl who tries to be the number 1 hostess in Japan. More than I hated it, this angered me on its view of deaf people right from the get-go. So annoyed. I know that they were trying to show how sucky her life is to contrast it with how she ends up at the end, but FUCK, IT WAS TOO MUCH. Plus, hated how her mother treated her because she was deaf. i don't know. i wouldn't recommend it solely for the fact that IT WAS JUST ARGH. ://///////// The first twenty minutes especially just made me want to go stabbity-stab-stab.
♥ Yes, even though i'm using hearts to start everything, that last point does not really get a heart.
♥ Um... Went to the Sakura Matsuri in Brooklyn last Saturday. Sad that all the cherry blossoms were gone, but it was still fun! Hung out with C. It's been a while since we've properly hung out so it was fun to do it again. From there we went to Chinatown and ate and bought stuff and yes. ♥♥♥
♥ OH! Anyone who wants this, Lito (that greek mythology AU that I pimped ages ago) has gotten another story! *__________* Read it
here. I love this universe, her writing, her characters. Just ALL OF IT. ♥
♥ okay, that's all for now! Have to really work on my Psych paper due tomorrow and my creative non-fiction piece that's due Thursday. ARGH. deadlines, catching up to me. T.T
