"Aren't you the elevator girl?" Ryo asked as soon as he entered the room.

Lindsay froze, turning around slowly and flushing when she saw Ryo. "I go by Lindsay?" she said, mentally berating herself for that.

"What are you doing here?"

Lindsay licked her lips - more out of nerves than for need, Ryo's eyes followed and her flush got darker. "I was hired. New translator. English to Japanese and vice versa."

Ryo looked mildly interested. "Once a week?"

"Twice."

"Dinner?"

"God, yes." Lindsay clapped a hand over her mouth. "I mean, what?"

"Dinner. I'm asking."

Lindsay blinked. "Still yes." Ryo grinned cheekily; Lindsay tried to hide her blush.

Slipped inside his textbook, right where he'd last left off.

Eat dinner, you stick.
Right on top of his bento.

Get a haircut.
Inside his locker.

Shige dyed his hair and got a haircut - knocked two birds off with one stone.

"You look hideous," Ryo snapped, without even looking up from his script.

"You told me to get a haircut."

Ryo started to flush, but still didn't meet Shige's eyes. "I never said anything about dying it an ugly color."

Shige shrugged. Quiet. "Thanks," he blurted out.

Ryo eyed him weirdly. "No problem?"

"They were helpful."

"Someone has to look after you."

She always cooked for him. He hated it. Not because she couldn't cook, because she could - god, she really could.

But Kurosaki wouldn't allow himself to bend that much. Letting Tsurara in that way would be almost acknowledging, promising. Saying that there could be more. More between them.

"It's not poisoned," Tsurara complained when he handed back her clean, empty plates.

"How do you know I didn't eat it?"

"Because you're you."

Kurosaki raised an eyebrow. "It was delicious."

Tsurara paused, before shaking her head. "Don't lie. Maybe I should stop."

"Hmm," Kurosaki's eyes met her. "Maybe."

She didn't, but Kurosaki didn't mind. Maybe.
