[#021] 1 Litre of Tears Episode 8.

May 06, 2008 09:06

See. See. I go off my unspoken hiatus and poof. I post three times in one day (or two days, rather). askdf;ajsklfjlkdjf Kamika = addicted. ~_~;;

But anyway. ONTO THE ACTUAL POST.
So I've been steadily watching 1 Litre of Tears, and only when I'm traveling (or waiting for massive hours for my father), which the first one is kinda dangerous, because... Well, this drama is totally made for not heart-jerking, but like heart-pulling, heart-wrenching, blahblahblah. All that lovely jazz. And breaking down on the train is not really something I'd like to do.

So yesterday, I managed to finish most of Episode 8 before I had to go meet my dad to go home, leaving only about 6 minutes left. Which I decided to finish on the train this morning. BAD IDEA. The last 6 minutes of Episode 8 was just before Aya was leaving school and giving that massive speech about how her health is part of her now, and all that jazz (and I'd seen that at the apartment, so even if I was teary, it wouldn't matter - but I wasn't). It was moving and the class was sniffling throughout it and then she left.

And I knew it was coming. I knew the class was going to chase after her (I WAS TOTALLY CHEERING FOR ASOU WHEN HE WAS THE FIRST TO MOVE. I WAS TRYING TO WILL HIM TO) because I'd seen it in the damn preview. But what I hadn't expect at all was that they were going to break out into the song that they'd sang for the festival. That was just. a;skldjfalskjf When Asou started singing, I pretty much broke and totally teared up on the train. It was acapella and just oh so amazing. And then everyone joined in, and at one point, you could hear someone's voice break. And I WAS SO TEMPTED TO BURST INTO TEARS. I am not normally this susceptable to heart-jerking moments. But this one, THIS ONE. a;sldkfjaskldjlasjdf I was about to frigging break.

And it was just so amazing. And so awesome. And really, this entire episode was filled with those moments.

LIKE THAT MOMENT WHEN AYA SAYS BYE-BYE TO ASOU ON THE BRIDGE WHERE THEY MET. (Wait, that was episode 8, right? I watched 7 and then 8 yesterday and can't remember anymore.) Oh god. That scene was so unbelievably moving. Especially since it followed the scene where Aya heard her class discussing her and ASOU COMPLETELY SNAPPED AND BLEW UP AT THEM. l;asjdfalskdfjlkj OH god. it was just so amazing. And Asou's like, I'm just like them. But Aya tells him that he's always been there for her in those difficult times and thanks him and then starts to wheel away and just as he moves to stop her or IDK what and touches the handles, she says, "Bye bye." And then he collapses. as;dfkajsdlfj GUYS. OHGOD. I don't even know anymore.

On a random note, can I say how much I love Asou? I know when I told Rhey that I was starting to watch 1 Litre, she was uber happy and told me that she wanted an Asou for herself. I'D HAVE TO AGREE. I WANT ASOU ALL FOR MYSELF. ASD;FKLAJSDLFJ He is just. Just. OH GOD. ...I say that too much. But really, he gets all the hearts I can give because it is so rightly deserved. as;dlfkasldkjlj God I'm so close to finishing, and while I'm anticipating it, I'm also dreading it, because I can only imagine how this drama will end.

It is really disorienting to watch both Ryo and Fujiki in two different roles simultaneously. Asou and Sosuke could not be any further apart in characterization, seriously. It's not like I'm mixing up their characters, but it's just weird. As for Fujiki.... The chin gruff has to go. I am liking his character in Around 40, although, I think someone on my flist said that they just like putting him in a white lab coat, and lol, just maybe. When he looks that good in them, can you blame them?

fujiki naohito, i am not usually this teary, around 40, last friends, jdramas, 1 litre of tears, i am fucking crazy, ryo plays dv man~, i want an asou for myself
