Okay I'm TRYING for another part, but a;lskdjfalskd yeah.

--

Jin could only remember how he had felt that day, not at all what had happened or what was said. He also remembered the overwhelming combination of anger and annoyance and betrayal from people he had once called his closest friends as they watched him pack his bags.

"Is this how it's going to go?" Koki asked, his voice cold.

Jin felt his entire body tense up, anxious for an argument that was bound to come. He folded up one of his shirts and stared at some spot in the corner of the room, refusing to meet anyone's eye. He stayed quiet, not wanting to say something that would only serve to make him feel worse than he already did.

"What, we don't even deserve an explanation?" Kame snapped.

Jin turned around to face him, after shoving his last shirt into his bag. "I've already said my part; don't blame me when none of you listen."

Kame stared at Jin, eyes filled with fury before he tore his gaze apart, tugging his hat down more over his face - to the point that Jin couldn't see his eyes anymore.

"Wasn't this all just a misunderstanding?" Taguchi asked, concerned.

Before Jin could open his mouth, Koki snorted. "I don't think any of us can misunderstand Jin's selfishness." There was a sharp sound of someone sucking in their breath - Jin vaguely wondered if he was making that noise - before Nakamaru put a hand on Koki's shoulder, looking mildly disappointed. Whether because of Jin or because of Koki, Jin wasn't sure.

Jin grabbed the bag from his bed before responding. "You're free to think whatever you'd like."

"I will," Koki quickly retorted.

"Fine."

"Fine."

There was a low groan from Ueda. "It's like dealing with a baby Kame. Grow up, you two." Jin gave Ueda a dark look, but Ueda never wavered. "You're acting rash, Jin."

Jin didn't want to acknowledge his words - didn't, wouldn't, couldn't - because he wasn't sure they were at all inaccurate. He shook his head nonetheless and walked towards the door.

"We won't wait for you," Koki called out.

Jin half-laughed, half-sighed. "I'm not asking you to." He walked out the door, intent on moving on, moving past. He only wished he didn't feel so lonely.

I am wondering hwo the "adventure" this time will fit in or what the frig will happen, because in my head, THERE'S NOTHING REALLY THERE. a;lskdjfalskdjf Other than the fact that I think I know who's gonna be the person they're going after and why. And yes, of course I'll draw out the tension. I have to be S at some point in my life. XP asdkfjaksldf;asdklfj

So I was gonna go a different route, but wanted this to be shorter... so previous plot idea is going to be slated for if ever I want to make another sequel. (AKA, if whatever their next PV is is going to be awesome.)

So, instead, this is just going to be in Jin's POV, I think, for the entire thing. Tell me if you think it works.

--
Jin thought it had hurt when he'd left and he'd gotten those looks from his friends. But it hurt more to have them acknowledge him and then promptly ignore him, like he wasn't there at all to begin with. Ueda's eyes glazed past him and Koki pointedly looked away. Taguchi had tugged his hood down over his eyes and before Jin knew it, his attention drifted to the other side of the club.

Jin swallowed, his hands moving to tighten the ponytail, trying to calm his nerves. He'd made his decision all those months ago; he couldn't avoid them forever (although, he'd hoped that's how things would go). He walked into the crowd, people moving from one side to the other, crystal balls glowing a light blue.

People were dancing all around him, the music booming was enough to drown out his thoughts, his tension, his guilt. It didn't stop him from noticing when his friends, ex-friends started to move as well, coming close but never close enough.

It was like another blow.

He managed to get to the bar, the same bar that Kame had previously been at, before another figure moved to stand next to him.

"What are you doing here?" Nakamaru asked quietly, leaning against the bar and facing the crowd. He didn't sound gruff, or angry - Jin half-expected that coming from him.

"Tegoshi," Jin said simply as he took a glass from the counter and promptly threw it back.

Nakamaru snorted. "Typical. That one was always intent on butting in when he shouldn't."

Jin only gave a noise of acknowledgment, but his hands gripped tightly to the edge of the bar - the only thing he'd let give away his nerves.

"You'll have to give it time."

"No, I don't."

"And leave everything the way it is?" Nakamaru asked, a tinge of disappointment in his voice.

"Why not? You guys seem to be doing fine." Jin licked at his lips, turning around to lean against the bar along with Nakamaru. His eyes quickly caught Koki's who barely even made a reaction this time - the disinterest was bothering Jin more than he'd like to admit. Koki ducked behind someone and Jin lost track of where he disappeared to.

Nakamaru laughed - a sardonic laugh - and shook his head, "Nobody judges a book by its cover. You shouldn't either." He pushed off the bar and got swallowed by the crowd.

Jin stared at Nakamaru's back, watching as he slowly disappeared. When he looked back around, his eyes caught Taguchi's - disappointed - Jin sharply tore his eyes and pulled out the picture from his pocket.

He looked back up and the crowd practically parted in front of him. Jin didn't need the crystal balls to see her in front of him. She was practically glowing a bright white light on her own. Her head tilted upwards and Jin held his picture so it was next to hers.

Jin grinned. Found her.

I wish I knew. I have a vague idea what I want her to be, but it's nothing big. XPPPP But um, yeah. Here's another part, except this is present again, not past. XP

--

Jin pushed forward, walking steadily in her direction. He tried to move as stealthily as possible, so as not to draw her attention. But halfway forward, she looked up, meeting his eyes, and with a small smirk and the sound of a crystal ball breaking, she vanished right before his eyes.

Another crystal ball broke nearby, and a body crashed into his. Jin tried to steady the person, but Ueda jerked out of his grasp. "You're too obvious, idiot." Jin blinked before Ueda blocked a punch from a random bystander and sent a bolt of electricity at the person's crystal ball, shattering it. The male blinked, focus returning to his eyes, and he gave Ueda a confused look before shaking his head and walking out of the club.

Jin blinked again. "What was that?"

Ueda rolled his eyes, adjusting his glasses. "Did you not read anything about this mission at all?"

"More like I didn't get anything except a picture and a location," Jin retorted back, looking around warily, almost anticipating someone attacking him randomly. Nobody did anything out of the ordinary though and Jin turned back to Ueda.

Ueda snorted. "Probably because he knew you wouldn't bother reading anyway."

"Not true," Jin said annoyed. Ueda fidgeted with his glasses again. "Since when did you get glasses anyway?"

"Six months ago," Ueda said coolly. "Right after you left."

Jin stayed silent; there was no point in saying Ueda's words hurt. Instead, he started to move, to the front of the club where the most people were.

"Tegoshi thinks that the club owner is housing the next resistance. It's been years since Johnny's death and the Princess has taken over the throne, not everyone's been happy about this," Ueda explained, walking alongside Jin.

"Tell me something I don't know," Jin snorted, keeping his eyes out for the person he was searching for.

"We think that all the people on her supposed side are all here not of their own will," Ueda said quietly, trying to keep his voice down. Jin had to strain to hear his words.

"That's what the crystal balls are?" He stopped in his tracks, suddenly noticing that everyone really were holding crystal balls.

Ueda nodded.

"Why are you telling me this?" Jin asked. "Shouldn't you let me fend for myself?"

"We were once a group. It could happen again." Ueda gave Jin a knowing look - one that made Jin feel like he was able to read everything Jin was thinking and even those thoughts he wouldn't let himself think. He gave Jin a pat on the back, and then turned around into the crowd.

Jin sighed, then looked up at the upper level. Koki was glaring at him. Jin supposed he was getting mad that one by one, the members were talking to him, like things were going to go back to normal; Koki had taken his leaving the hardest, after all.

He started to walk up the staircase, but Taguchi stopped him, grabbing onto his arm. "I don't think that's a good idea."

Next thing Jin knew, the club exploded in action and Jin jerked to look down at the floor by instinct. Kame and Koki both had the club owner in their grip, ivy vines tangling Koki's arm to the club owner while Kame gripped onto her other arm.

Ueda and Nakamaru were halfway across the room, their attentions occupied by people moving to attack them. Jin heard the sound of crystal breaking right next to his hear and jerked his head around to see Taguchi furiously trying to block arms moving to attack both him and Jin. "Do something!" Taguchi hissed.

Jin sucked in a breath. He wasn't sure he missed this part of the job.

is the bolded 'he' referring to Koki? because it sounds like Jin, only that doesn't make any sense.

Jin tapped into the part of him that remembered how to use his powers. He'd refused to use them when he'd gone back; it stung to even think of using them after all that had happened. The feeling of wind strengthened around him and it was a rush remembering how much he had loved his element. His hands tingled and Jin pushed them forward, sending high winds around the room and shattering all the ones that were in front of him.

Attacking stopped near him and Taguchi, and Taguchi gave him a grateful look in return. "It's good to have you back," Taguchi said before rushing down the stairs towards Nakamaru and Ueda.

Jin licked at his lips. He didn't want to admit it, but he needed to hear those words more than anything else. At least to someone, he was wanted. Jin ran down the stairs too, shattering random glass balls along his way - not caring who or what was there. All he knew was that he had to keep moving. Before he knew it, Jin was right by Koki and Kame who were still holding down the club owner.

"Let them go," Kame hissed angrily.

The lady, despite being tangled up in Koki's vines, looked cool and collected, as though she didn't believe she was in any trouble. "I don't think so," she said. There was an odd noise in her voice; it strangely reminded Jin of air.

"Get out of here," Koki snapped when he noticed Jin there. "We don't need your help, or what you think is defined as help anyway."

Jin swung another arm out to their side, more crystal balls shattering. "I'm here to get her, not to help you guys," Jin growled.

The lady in white laughed lightly; again, Jin got the feeling of air and it was starting to disturb him. "You've finally come," she said, looking Jin straight in the eye. "I've been waiting for someone of your skills."

Jin blinked, confused. Kame threw him a dirty look. "Is this why you came back?"

"Wait, I have no ide-" Jin started, but he stopped when she stared straight at him, the corners of her lips twitch upwards. With her free hand, she conjured a small crystal ball and before anyone could stop her, she crushed it. Jin felt his entire world go black, his whole body seemed to move somewhere that wasn't where he'd been before.

When light finally came back to his eyes, Jin realized he wasn't at the club anymore. He didn't even know if he was on Earth anymore, because all was still shrouded in black. The only reason he could see was because she was glowing right before him. Just like she always had been.

"Sit down," she said. "There's much we need to talk about."

Another parttt~ PLOT THICKENS. WOOT. Let's see if I can get further in the plot.

--

"There's not exactly somewhere to sit," Jin said, trying to sound calmer than he actually felt.

She tittered, covering her hand with her mouth, and sat back - whether it was an actual chair or not, Jin wasn't sure. "We're one in the same, you know," she said softly, turning a small crystal ball in her fingers.

Jin snorted, just as a something came crashing into him from behind and he fell back, hitting onto something solid. He reached back, but felt nothing against his fingers. Half turning, he realized he was sitting on air. "Did you do that?" he asked, sucking in his breath as he turned back to face her.

"Unless you did without knowing."

Jin pursed his lips. "Why am I here?"

"Because I've been waiting for you." Her eyes glowed, a brightly white than before. "A person with the power of wind, one with the drive to take what is rightfully his."

"And what's rightfully mine?"

"This country, this world. It's all meant for someone with power and strength, not that frail little Princess we have on the throne." She stood up and sashayed towards Jin, leaning over to rest her hands on his chest. "You are the one I've been waiting for."

Jin laughed roughly. "You've got the wrong person." He removed her hands from him, pushing her away. "I'm only here to bring you back to Tegoshi and that's all."

Her eyes flared. "Don't say that name in front of me!" she hissed angrily, flinging an arm out. A gust of wind hit Jin squarely on the chest, blowing him back off the air!chair.

To Jin, the world turned black once more. When he opened his eyes again, Jin felt hands holding him up and light came flooding back. "Where did you go?" Taguchi asked.

Jin sucked in a breath. "I'm not sure."

The woman in white appeared in front of them without notice. "I misjudged you," she growled, pointing a finger at Jin's. "Anyone that uses that name fondly isn't any ally of mine."

Jin rolled his eyes, shaking off Taguchi's and Nakamaru's hands - the ones holding him up. "I didn't want to be your ally anyway."

"What'd she do, promise you power and position?" Taguchi asked with a snort.

"Un," Jin sighed. "Been there, done that."

"And you fell for it the first time," Kame retorted.

Jin felt his stomach plunge, but his eyes never left the woman. "I never accepted, don't keep to incorrect conclusions," he growled. There was a small laugh near him, just a small one, but Jin had heard it - he just didn't know who it was from.

Before Jin could figure it out, he watched as the female's eyes flared once more and the sound of a crystal ball shattered sent a gust of wind against the six guys. All fell back, some landing against the ground and other smacking into walls nearby.

"Forget it! I can take on the Princess's guards on my own, starting with this rag-tag group of wizards," she hissed, another gust of wind slamming them against the nearest surface.

"God, she's as annoying as you are," Kame growled in Jin's direction.

Jin rolled his eyes as he struggled to put up a barrier to counter-act her wind. "Hearing you say that, of all people, is the most annoying of all. Especially when you're the most annoying of us all," Jin said dryly. He finally managed to put up a barrier, one that was only big enough for him and Kame since Kame was the only one close enough.

Kame barked out a laugh. "Only annoying to you." When Jin turned to look at him, he was a little startled to see that there wasn't any malice, maybe mild annoyance in Kame's eyes, but no malice. The one thing that Jin had been worried about the most. "Let's get her?"

Jin nodded, feeling his heart pounding in his chest. "Yeah, let's get her."

--

So yes, a hint of past that i was trying to set up. Um, Kame may have bent really quickly at the end, but.. um... he wasn't the biggest problem?? XPPPP I'm not sure. I'll have to fix that up. Really, Kame wasn't as mad as Jin thought he was? In my head, everyone's kinda understood what really happened in the past, and only Koki's angry that Jin left so easily. a;lskdjfalskdjf Right. That's what I THINK. a;sldkfjaslkd I DON'T KNOW anymore. T.t

--

When Jin looks over to the other guys to see how they were doing, he's pleased to see that the other two pairs have it under control. Taguchi had gotten the water flowing from the bar and created a size-able barrier for him and Koki, while Ueda's electric sparks made one for him and Nakamaru. Their eyes meet and they nod to each other, fighting forward despite the fact that her winds only get stronger.

A shattering noise echoes through the empty club, and they stumble forward, without the winds that they'd been fighting against subside. Jin lifts his head to find her, but she was no longer where she'd been standing.

"What in the-" are the words that come out of Koki's mouth before everyone sees him fly through Taguchi's water barrier, effectively breaking it and sending the water splattering down to the floor. Taguchi's yell is the next thing they hear as he joins Koki down on the floor, feet away from where they'd been standing.

It's a flash of an eye, but Jin manages to catch her standing there with something solid and obviously cloudy white in her hands. He sees a bolt of electricity come down in her spot, but she's gone before it can hit her, leaving a scorch mark in its spot.

"Fuck!" Ueda growls, and Jin swallows when Ueda's the next struck. He's pushed against a wall and Jin can see a faint cut along his back.

"Jin, this is your element!" Kame hisses when Jin can't do anything, but watch.

JIn fiddles with his hands, trying to think. "Hers is different! She can manipulate the wind into something solid. I can only move them around, but they go their own course."

"Predict her movements," Kame tells him. "Listen."

Taguchi was trying to protect Ueda sending bursts of water at his sides, but never hitting anything solid. Koki runs across the room, trying to get Ueda out of whatever's pinning him against the wall, but his hands only knock into air - solid, but his hands just pass through it after a second.

Jin hears something cutting through air before it actually happens, and the next thing he knows Nakamaru is hissing in pain, clutching his shoulder. Kame rushes past Jin and tries to help Nakamaru's wound. Jin can't figure out just how they can fight someone that's not exactly there, but there all the same. He manages to catch it again, the noise of something cutting through air and this time, Kame manages to step back enough that his hat is the only thing that takes the damage, flying off his head and landing somewhere on the floor behind him.

"Koki! Move to your right!" Jin yells, and without fail, Koki moves. Everyone can hear the noise this time as she misses her target completely, the wind sword hitting the wall right by Ueda. "Taguchi, aim for that spot now!"

It's a little startling that his former (are they still former now?) friends are listening to him without question, but Jin is more than glad for it as Taguchi's water hits something obviously solid, knocking the woman in white off balance. Koki acts quickly, his vines tangling up the female's feet, keeping her rooted to the ground. Taguchi manages to keep her hands in small bubbles, so as to prevent her from doing anything with her hands.

Whatever was holding Ueda against the wall fails and within seconds, he falls back, gasping for air.

"Did... did we get her?" Jin asks, stunned.

"Yup!" Taguchi says happily, turning to give Jin a pleased look. "We knocked the wind out of her~"

Jin raises his eyebrow, but chuckles a little to appease him at least a little. "I think we just might have."
