Dancing with the Stars - Week 3 Recap
Although it is still 17 minutes early, I decided to at least have the window open in anticipation for the episode. I'll post as it goes on and tomorrow will have the recap for the results show.
On first view... The outfits seem to be a little stranger than usual but that's just another story. And that wig on Cheryl? Flipping odd.
Emmitt and Cheryl: First thing's first. Dude. What was with that MUSIC? That was the shittiest tango music I've ever heard. I couldn't even focus on the dance because I just couldn't understand it. @.@ Anothing thing that was weird was Cheryl's wig. Now, onto the dance. I didn't like it. Sorry, Emmitt. But I sincerely doubt he'll be kicked out so early. I definitely think he's safe.
Monique and Louis: Before I see anything, I have to say I expect her dance to be good now. Hopefully, it will be. Oh god. Did she almost have a wardrobe malfunction? The dance was... okay. Whatever. It wasn't that great and all, but that could be because I was so distracted. I think it looked like a good jive but she didn't seem to match up with Louis a lot of the time. (But that might've been because she was distracted herself.) The jump in the beginning was the best part, I have to say. Also, loved the fact that Louis helped to pull her skirt up as they stood for the judges. But that's something else.
Harry and Ashly: Now this is Tango music. Harry seems to be doing better than before. Although I could've sworn he missed Ashly somewhat in the beginning, it was an all together good dance. *laughs* I loved the rose thing... Funny! I think Carrie was offended that he didn't give her the rose. Oh well...
Willa and Max: She is really unfortunate to always be in the bottom without the votes she gets, especially when she's such a good dancer. She always seems to have too much makeup on her. It could be such a good dance. But Willa seems so much more timid than she should be for a jive. It was really more "umph. umph." than the "UMPH." it should be to me. (Did that make any sense?) Also, I automatically caught the lift thing. That's so not allowed.
Okay, completely not part of this. But a commercial with George and Stacy. Random.
Jerry and Kym: Ha! Jerry always makes me laugh. I'm really glad he didn't leave. To miss Jerry 007? Kym is really working herself in this dance. Oooh. Did she almost grope him? Random. The leg-kicking was cool. Not as snappish as it could be. Okay... That was a cool dance. I have to admit. Although, I'm so biased because Jerry is so cool! And great. And so funny! (Jerry's so winning Miss Congeniality.) I totally didn't expect him to get a higher score than Emmitt though.
Sara and Tony: (I still don't like her. I hope she does better.) The outfit's kinda cute, I have to say. Wow is this starting out slow. And staying rather slow as well. Is nobody going to do a good jive? I don't understand the praise... It wasn't that great.
Mario and Karina: Wow, they are showing a whole lot of chemistry. I liked that beginning already and the music hasn't even started yet. I love her dress, but that's another story. WHOA. (Wait, wrong person.) I REALLY liked that dance. That was a great, great, great, great dance to me. And the only dance so far that I liked as soon as I saw it. That was insane. @.@ (And now the judges are angry... XP I hate that... But I understand if they broke the rules. They totally keep trying to push the line. Bad Mario and Karina. But was it really that big a deal? I'm so conflicted...)
Vivica and Nick: Weird. Why's she doing the tango? It's not as though neither Joey or Edyta could've done the tango, or that her and Nick couldn't have done the jive. Wow, I'm so distractedddddddd. I really can't focus on the dance itself. It wasn't really that captivating. I've sure been saying that a lot this week.
Joey and Edyta: Hee! Just from the start, I have high hopes for Joey. I was complaining earlier about no good jive for me. But this one was good. However. Darn the tricks and the forbiddenness of it all. That's so not alloweddddd people! I hate that. Wow, they break rules and the judges are lenient? I don't get it. (Well, except for Len who has a stick up his ass repeatedly. Thank god for Tom.)
Prediction: I would really, REALLY love for Sara to go next. (I haven't liked her since the beginning and she hasn't grown on me unfortunately.) But, I'm thinking that Willa will probably go next. Due to the fact that she doesn't have that great a voting circle.
I'm thinking that I need to rewatch a bunch of these dances again. I didn't like a lot of them or paid attention to the dances themselves.
I'm planning on posting up my opinion on Veronica Mars sooner than later. ^_^ T'was very happy to have seen the episode online. It was the greatest thing ever.
Also, am planning on posting up the score boards from the past 3 seasons to show just because (I'm bored... I keep thinking they've been raising the scores every season to the point that the lowest score they use is an 8). Would anyone want to see that?
