You shine brighter than the brightest light that the world could show.
I just got back from Orlando. Brian and I took six students from the church's Student Ministry to a StudentLife conference where the theme was Live Love.
Amazing.
It was all about how to truly LIVE love. To not just talk about loving people, but actually doing it, and how important that is.
I believe I'm a pretty loving person, but this just totally backed up [even more!] what God has been teaching me lately, which is to never cease loving anyone.
Francis Chan spoke, and he really hit some intense, deep, TRUTHFUL points. The first night was awesome. He spoke on who God is. The picture of God is painted for us in Revelation 4:1-6, and once I began to understand that, it just changes so much! That I'm even able to speak to a being, God, that is so holy and glorious and just like nothing else in this universe, to speak to Him and be heard... it's just mind-blowing!
"After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.
Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne.
And He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was a rainbow [or halo] around the throne, like an emerald in appearance.
And around the throne were twenty-four thrones; and upon the thrones, twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and golden crowns on their heads.
And from the throne proceed flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;
And before the throne there was, as it were, a sea of glass like crystal; and in the center and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind.
And the first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like that of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle.
And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say,
'HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, IS THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, who was and who is and who is to come.'
And when the living creatures give the glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever,
the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
'Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for Thou didst create all things, and because of Thy will they existed, and were created.'"

I read this and I realize, as much as I can, just how huge and majestic and glorious and beautiful God is, and I am in awe!!! And THEN I read this one:
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." JOHN 3:16
We usually just graze right over the first part, but that's key!!! God, this amazing and mighty being who shines like gems and created the universe, loves us SO much, that he gave his ONLY SON to die, so that WE, the little people down here, would NOT die, but live eternally with Him! And all we have to do is just accept this! Accept this awesome gift of life and love and salvation through Christ Jesus.

So if any of you were wondering what my life's about. That's it!!!!!! In whatever I do, ever, I want to bring the glory to God! I want to tell everyone and have them experience the Almighty!!!
