Hurricane Frances

Here she comes. Lady Luck. She'll make landfall sometime on Friday. Tim is boarding up the house, and I'm gathering the kids' stuff. Disposable diapers for them for a couple of weeks until water becomes accessable again. Lots of Peanut butter. Powerade. Sunblock. Mosquito repellant.

Now, the spoiled snots of South Florida are going to have to live without a/c for a few weeks. No a/c? Blah. We do that every summer. =) It's cakewalk to us!

FEMA hasn't put out Tropical Storm or Hurricane warnings just yet. But the grocery stores are packed, and people have to wait in line to GET INSIDE! There's a fire hazard in having too many people in the building. That's okay. We've been watching Miss Frances for a week. For a while, she looked like she was making a beeline to Miami. Andrew did just that in 1992. So Tim and I got hurricane-ready very early in this game.

And we all know that the early bird catches the worm! Unless you're a cockroach, The early cockroach gets STOMPED! Wish us good luck, and May the Universe do what is right. Though I don't post much anyway, I'll see you guys and gals in a few weeks.
