Update
Wow, what a week. Lots of phone interviews, a few in-person interviews. One I was really qualified for, and they may still call me for some consulting (I hope), but I think I lost out on the position because of where I live. That's getting to be a really annoying reason for not getting a job. I do a phone interview, I come in for two rounds of interviews, they don't bring up the commute until the last interview, and then I don't get the job. I'm going to be a lot more vague about how far away I live, since no one's ever heard of the town anyway. At least I'm getting interviews, I suppose that's a good sign. Still working at the place I have been for too little...the trade off is that I am getting the time off I need to go to all the interviews.
Trying to stay optimistic, all that stuff, going to try to spend some time with Sweetie tonight. Been having the I'm too tired/he's too tired conflict with any kind of cuddles or anything, so taking advantage of the fact that we're both awake.
