You've got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight...
Wow, my schedule next semester bites the big one. The past two semesters, where I was taking upwards of 7 or 8 courses, I still managed to get one day off a week. This semester, I'm taking a reduced course load since I'm only missing the core Cultures classes, which is only 5. Somehow...SOMEHOW, I'm going to school every damn day. I fail to understand.
And on top of that, the way my courses are structured is just...nuts. I have on class on Monday, from 1-2:30, which is fine. I can sleep in and get home early enough to do some work....Tuesday, however. I have a class from 8-10, and my next class is at 2. What the hell am I going to do with a four hour break? Wednesday I only have one class, which I may add, is four freakin' hours long. And it's a digital art course, from 12:30-4:30. Hence, I'll be staring at a computer screen for four hours. And it'll be in a lab, so we're not allowed to eat. Fun. Thursday I have a 2.5 hour break in between classes, and a stupid gym course from 4-6...brutal. Fridays are good. Fridays I only have a class from 8-10.
I'm just slightly irritated, although the sight of cops on snowmobiles instead of in patrol cars today did greatly amuse me. The fact that I had to, quite literally, take skis to the grocery store wasn't so fun.
The Christmas trial-baking is officially done, and the winners have been announced. The gingerbread houses are being created next Tuesday, which means candy shopping should take place sometime on Monday. So much to do, so much to do. Tomorrow night my friends and I are getting together for our big annual Christmas party, and Wednesday Pippen is throwing a big potluck dinner...I'm debating bringing a big Greek salad. Produce is just so ridiculously expensive now because it's not in season.
