I'm looking for baggage that goes with mine...

Rent was just....pardon me, but OMFGAMAZING!1111!1

*cough*

Usually musicals-turned-movie SUCK, but this one was just...top notch. And I love that they had so many of the same cast members, it was so ridiculously authentic. I was leary on Rosario Dawson as Mimi, but holy CRAP. She's better than the original Mimi! It was insane, she played the role so ridiculously well. There were some slightly changes, just small things like omitting certain lines in La Vie Boheme, and they neglected my absolute FAVOURITE number. Grrr!

Mmm, Rent good-ness. I want to marry Adam Pascal, because his Roger is just yummy. And I absolutely nearly peed myself laughing everytime the answering machine went off, "SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAK". Ha!

Classes tomorrow, urgh. Not to mention I'm rather petrified to get on the metro(err, subway) now. After they caught the terrorist, I think it was in Spain, and found a whole bunch of maps on him of the system and how it works. Montreal has the best metro system in the world, we have a whole underground city for fuck's sake, and the people around here have always known it was somewhat of a target. It's logical, but it freaks me out. Security in there isn't all it's cracked up to be, there are no metal detectors and just about no officers lurking around, anywhere. It's ridiculously easy to slip on there with something destructive, and the public are totally unprotected.

Color me petrified.
