There should be a 24-hour hotline that connects students directly to the MLA Research staff. Because I have 3 "handbooks for writers!11!", all university/professor level, and not one of them tells me how to cite a dictionary in a bibliography. An encyclopedia, sure. It even tells me how to cite a might-be-true-fact passed on from word of mouth to stone to paper from my neighbour's uncle's monkey, but a dictionary? Nooooo.
