grad school
i got into the university of pittsburgh masters of library and information science program!!! it's weird cause i didnt even think that they had all my application stuff. i have to let them know by march 22, and since i'll probably not find out till after that if i got into simmons, i'll probably accept it. but i really want to go to simmons. i like boston so much more than pittsburgh. but pitt has the third best program for library science in the country, so it evens out a little bit. at least i wont have to be in new jersey or ohio. i was super worried. so now i'm basically just going to wellesley to get my reference for simmons. it's a super long drive for just one thing. oh, well.
so israel was a lot of fun, except when it snowed. it was hardly any snow but all of jerusalem shut down. it would have been funny except i was so bored because there was nothing to do. we went to the dead sea to go to a spa for a couple of days, and that was a lot of fun. and the weather was super nice, 65-70 degrees. and i got to sit in the sun and it was so relaxing. seeing my brother while we were there was kinda fun, except when he decided to be a jerk on our last night. then the flight back SUCKED!!! it was all these annoying people and the plane was super late, we sat on the runway for over an hour. and the food was horrible and i wasnt feeling well and the lady behind me pulled my hair and pushed my seat and pushed her coat into my lap.
i'm super excited about my spring break trip, but i still have to get tickets to get to boston before the trip and from boston after the trip.
yay for laura for getting a job offer!!! it was super fun talking to her today. sadly, she will be in seattle when i'm in wellesley on monday. i was thinking of calling some other people to have lunch but i feel weird calling people and asking. but if anyone reads this before monday, let me know if you want to get together.
