2017 Fic Roundup
Total number of posted stories in 2017: 8, which is so low, but when I went back and counted, is better than I’ve done since 2013... whoops. How I miss those years when I had time to write!

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you’d predicted? Less, although looking back at the last 3 years, apparently it was more.
What’s your own favorite story of the year? Death By Drowning, which is self-indulgent fluff, go figure.
My best story of this year: So much fluff. I’m not certain any of them count as literature lol! I don’t generally consider “best” under 5k, and they’re all under 5k. But let’s go with Comet Tail, which manages to be the exact songfic I want it to be without, I believe, giving away that it is a songfic. That is something I find amusing to attempt to pull off...
My most popular story of this year: Interlude without a doubt. Alas, my Riptide...
Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion: All of the Riptide lol. But I will go with From The Dance
Most fun story to write: Stripped Down, definitely :) Who doesn’t love a mostly-naked, confused Cody being oiled up by Nick on the deck of the Contessa?
Sexiest story/story with the single sexiest moment: Hmm. Apparently I’ve gone all gen (well, pre-slash). How odd of me. It will have to be Fireworks
Hardest story to write: Maybe Night Magic because it felt concerningly close in theme to a previous Christmas fic?
Did you take any writing risks this year? Only in that I’d never written Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, and I’m only familiar with the books, and I’m pretty sure my recipient was talking about the TV show (there is a TV show, right?)
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year? I have joined Write Every Day, and that is my goal. Because Riptide.
