Oh, it's a lovely Yule
I hope everyone has had a merry Christmas and/or a good week, depending on your celebration and ways chosen to celebrate it.
I know I haven't been around much since the beginning of November, some of you know why, but suffice it to say I now have breathing space again, and shall hope to rejoin you all in the wonderful world of fic forthwith :)
With that in mind, I did manage Yuletide by dint of strategic time management and much screeching. And I'm glad I did, because I have three lovely gifts in return.

I think you mostly know I rather like some Peter. And I have received a great casefic, much in the style of Sayers' shorts. The Affair of the Blanched Bibliomane, 4000 words, gen a fun case and a nice look at Peter.

I got a surprise and most welcome treat in the Madness: It's a drabble, and it's a lovely one. A Screaming Conversation, 100 words, gen. Delightful.

This is a great story. The Golden Calf, NC17, warnings for BDSM and related, but... goodness. Don't dismiss this fic due to the pairing or the characters (Travis McGee/Julian Kirrin). Just think of Julian as the beautiful blond twink you know he is, think of Trav as the laconic, kindly sexual-healing dude you know he is, stir, and, um... enjoy. :D
