Yuletide Reveal
Let me start with a further huge thank you to my very own Yuletide author for the wonderful Riptide fic You Don't Count the Cost. That author has been revealed as my very dear quoshara. I asked for a fic in which "Nick and Cody are the most important person in each other's lives". Quo has totally nailed that with this fantastic first-time story. *hugs, Quo, and thank you again!
I myself wrote two fics for Yuletide, well down on last year's tally. They were:
Fandom: These Old Shades (Georgette Heyer)
My Yuletide recipient asked for Justin/Hugh, for something that made some of the queer subtext of the book more textual, and explored Hugh's reactions to Leon (and Leonie), and Justin Alastair's dark subtle games.

This is a Yuletide treat I wrote for quoshara and stuff_we_like, because I always think that anyone who asks for Riptide fic for Christmas should get it, if at all possible. At the time I posted this I naturally had no idea if the recipients already had a Riptide fic in their stockings (neither did, as it turned out), or that one of them had in fact written me the most beautiful Riptide present of my very own! So I'm doubly glad I did it, and even gladder that Quo liked it :)
