LOL. So as the title suggests, the last week as been very good indeed! Have made OODLES of progress on my ISS, which is a really wonderful and glorious change of pace from last semester. I got an A- on my proposal, found a new method to run the trials that shaves off a good 20-30 minutes PER FISH (and as I have 50 fish to work on, this is a GOOD THING), and looks like I have someone who not only knows a lot about the type of behaviour I'm looking at, but also has a high speed camera he is willing to lend me, AT SFU! WOOT! originally it was looking like I'd have to truck out to DFO every day, and since it's in North Van, I wasn't all that excited about it. lol.
So yes, rather happy with the way my first week back has gone. I must admit I was getting really antsy about getting back to school by the end of the winter break...work just wasn't all that great, and it just seems like the holidays are an ideal time for shit to hit the fan. lol. Ah well, back now, and having a nerdy good time. :)
I can't beleive I'm graduating this semester...it's scary! lol. Also scary is trying to apply for all these damned scholarships and whatnot...I feel like weeping and screaming 'DON'T JUDGE ME' when i write them. lol. Somehow I don't think that would get me all that far. :)
oooo I switched cell phone providers, now I'm with Solo Mobile. REally sweet plan, and no contract which I LOVE...but having issues with the T9 text function. boo. was in the store today to try and get it squared away, but ALL of the models of my phone that they had in stock were doing the same thing, just to a lesser degree. Oh well, took one anyway and as long as it doesn't get worse I'm happy.
