Hmmm. I'm rather bored again. How awful. But if I stay at school for just one more hour then I can go home in a lovely car instead of the stinky bus. Hence my conundrum. Even though I did just have to pay $20 for a new u-pass. Irritating much? yes...but considering this is the first time in 4 years that I've gone and lost the damn thing, I'd say I'm not doing too bad overall.
And to be honest, there is loads of work I can be doing right now...I'm just being lazy. Bad Karen, bad! I will do some as soon as I finish this, I swear!
So the weekend was good; nerded it up at Tim Hortons again, hiked Buntzen cuz I couldn't get dive gear rentals, went to Johnny Foxx's Irish Snug with Rob, Jen, Derek, Adam, Shaun, and Devin, which was fun, and I HIGHLY recommend the place FYI, the food was good and they serve beer in REAL pints. I didn't even know I was drinking fake pints before. It was wonderful to discover there was a way to order beer that resulted in so much MORE beer just for me. :D Sunday was mostly uneventful, but I did get to go to the Mossom hatchery, get all done up in chest waders and a hard hat and dump gravel into a stream. I felt like I was at Bamfield again, the sexiness of my outfit was just THAT overwhelming. ^_^;;
So I met up with my secondary supervisor today. He's a nice guy, he just always sounds rather brilliant...and it kinda makes me feel like Wayne and Garth from Wayne's World when they get to meet Alice Cooper.
Hmmmm...it's getting very busy in this here library. I think I'm going to be a good person and actually stop doing 'personal' stuff on the computer, and instead switch over to research.
