But I must be quick, as lunch is in less than 10 minutes, and after that I have to go climb a tree.
No, seriously. lol.
Today we're going to be climbing to a staggering 30m height up a tree so we can study the canopy. I think I'm gonna freak. Should be awesome. lol.
Anyhoo, not much on the ol Bamfield front happening. We've started working on our project, this go round I'll be studying Black Bears. bit of an upgrade eh? lol. It was INSANE the amount of safety stuff we had to cover before we submitted our permit request. psht. silly bears don't wanna eat me! ah well. I also have a large presentation coming up this Friday...I'm excited about the talk, but still SUPER nervous cuz it's worht like 20% of our final grade....biggest presentation I've ever given. EEK.
So funny story...I went to the beach to study on Saturday, had an awesome time...and forgot to put sunscreen on the back of my legs and have been unable to walk properly since. lol. and on that note...off I go to climb a huge ass tree :D
Mayhaps I should add a little post when I get back just so everyone knows I'm still alive....lol.
