(no subject)
On one of those rare occasions that I go out, Em Omar and myself went out to the pub on Saturday and then one Strongbow and Appletini later (I have NO tolerance)...I was wandering about Shuler's books store in a drunken haze. I gotta say...browsing a book store while drunk is fun. It was impossible to find the book I wanted though. :( funny how Omar ended up not being drunk at all...and before last night he'd never been to a bar before! haha. But in the end I rediscovered why I don't drink. Me + alcohol means no sleep, an upset tummy and a pounding headache.
I got invited to this thing next Sunday by Thumper, aka Matt (guy I work with) at Ricks bar where he's got a rap band...and there's going to be other bands playing and stuff. I'm not a huge fan of rap, but I think it'll be a lot of fun, and thank god I don't have to work that day. I rarely ever get weekends off. He's commissioned me to draw a poster for his band too. I'm doing this as a favor because honestly....my art style isn't very edgy. its probably going to be too cute-ish for his tastes. but oh well. I shall try my best.
still no word from the State job. I guess I'm out of the running. and I'm sick of caring about it.
