My first exam
It is too early in the morning! Went to bed straight after coming back from the girls' and have been sleeping since - hence I'm awake now, but my body isn't really. Yesterday's exam was a bit of a catastrophe. I thought I had done alright until I spoke to people outside and realized that I hadn't at all. It is my fault really. I should have done less Req Spec and more revision... Still, it is only 10% of the final mark, so to be fair there is still plenty of time to do a serious amount of damage control next semester. Am annoyed though and felt rather down afterwards, hence I went over to the girls' place, which I hadn't really done since the beginning of the year. Think it did me a world of good, even though that house is as mad as ever ^___________^
We went to the Noodle bar up in Headington together, which people had told me about, but I had never actually been to and it was pretty good! Will have to try some soba there at some point, as Sarah's looked really nice! I know I'm spending far too much on food lately. Got a pizza delivered from Domino's day before yesterday and went out yesterday - I'm not impressed by myself. Also bought a silver Christmas tree of lovely cheesiness! I thought it came with small baubles though, but it doesn't, so I shall return to the shop and ask them where they got the really cute miniature tree decorations that are on the trees in the window from. Am also tempted to start a charm bracelet *lol* We don't really have them on the continent and Emily and I saw a really nice one, so I feel rather tempted ^^
After we got back to theirs my plan was to go back home as soon as possible, as I wanted to revise maths, but it looked really cold and windy outside, so I ended up chatting with Jason about WARP politics for an hour or so instead and then proceeded to crawl around the Christmas tree on all fours with Emily and prod presents. There were presents for little me under there! Wooohoooooo! Also there were some presents under there I'm just dying to find out what it might be - mainly cause they just looked really interesting *lol* Finally roused myself to leave after Jess had more or less kicked me out :-P
Called Garry on my way back while struggling with the Christmas tree and almost got blown away by the wind. It took me forever to get home and when I finally did, I felt absolutely shattered. I played with the tree for a bit (it is made of metal and was flat when in the box, so it took me a while to make it look like a tree again XD ) and then proceeded to read some of the webcomics I missed due to revision... And then I fell asleep. In my clothes and coat and with my laptop on my lap. Woke up half ten and got out of my clothes, just to get straight back into bed and to sleep. So much for revision.
As a result I woke up really early this morning after two nightmares and general restless sleep and now I think I'll start revising considering I'm awake anyway...
