No really, he's a great actor but just...not me :)
I might have to watch troy again tonight though. I really like the wailing woman in the soundtrack, it's very evocative.
I dug loads on my allotment today, put lots of plants in that have been hanging around for weeks waiting for me to get round to it, and got all the ground ready for my potatoes, which I may put in tomorrow, or next week. Maybe.
We hope to go camping next weekend, since we both have the 4 days off. Somewhere in norfolk....if it's warm enough. And probably even if it isn't.
So, I had a chat with my boss on thursday about wages, because I had previously asked him if we were going to have any kind of review, since the minumum wage has gone up. And so we did. And maria and myself both got a rise, and thankyou for all your hard work type of thing, we really appreciate it although business has been so bad last year and this year so far because nobody's buying plants these days, we shouldn't really be giving rises at all, but we're so nice, that we are.
And then the next day I stayed an extra half an hour to finish my watering and to prove that I am wonder-employee of the month. It was bootiful yesterday, all sunny and warm, watering outside was a pleaseure.
And we are the proud new owners of a weight bench press thing, with a barbell and all that man stuff, and things. It took about 4 hours to put it together (adam did it) and I really really will use it, I will, really.
Isn't it amazing how easy it is to spend LOADS of money in Asda? Especially when you haven't done a big shop for ages, and they also have clothes and things in there too....
