Here's the cover of a 1964 issue of a German pulp magazine called "Florentine Novel." For this particular story they abused a picture of William Shatner as Dr. Cunnigham from the Kildare series. The story is about a plastic surgeon named Rainer Götze, who falls in love with the receptionist of his prospective father-in-law. I really tried to read more, but the style was unbearable and all the characters were too beautiful and noble to be true. I'm not sure what happened to his fiancée, but according to the last page, they somehow managed to live happily ever after. What a surprise!
I think it's best to leave Doctor Götze alone. Have some movie programs instead. (Click to embiggen.)
