Hazardous living ahead!

There is only one thing worse than a newly teen daughter, and that is having two pre-teens.

Its not the wall to wall Hanna Montanna, the Jonas brother thing which causes the typical two out of three to side against the little blushing one, the hair products debate, the angst over fringes, new specs or anger arising out of which side of what was where ages ago...

*crikey, was that the sound of steel on steel being crunched in their room, what the f** is in their room that could make it sound like an iron foundry on a thursday night meep*

nor really is it that we all are getting over the loss of our departed furry nuisence friend more than a week ago

*hate the cat food isle, when I am halfway down it and I don't need it at all now, 24 years is a hard habit to break*

also the distracting just a minute messages as in the pile of tidy-away stuff the Halloween plastic brains are being squished about in hands as my youngest is talking to me ONE OF THE MOST DISTRACTING TACTILE CUES ON EARTH AS WE KNOW IT, JIM and the squeee of the play stuff being resorted and categorised and not really being played with, zits not really being avoided as a topic of conversation or taunting, and worst of all a sudden deathly hushed silence of Utter Anonymous  Doom just when the typing the blog -fu is starting to work...

*what is going on is it another biro experimentation session on the duvets again or wallpaper peeling aaargh*

No, these things are not the worst, although it is years on after they are born and you realise the Operator Manual provided must be so brilliant its been stolen already, so useful you miss it every day and need to refer to it but don't have it to hand...

No.  Not even knowing what the Bonus Jonas looks like...

It's being cool enough as a parent to sit down and blog all this instead of getting angry, and realising that the pattern of your own (abusive) upbringing is a chain which is finally getting broken at last.  Good yes?  Very.

But difficult because you have to keep it up.

Chocolate will help I reckon.  Time also to read AU m/m stuff  in private for just me later on also.  That is real escapism.

*WTF, I MAY EVEN START WRITING AGAIN***

things to do while waiting for tw3 to im, marvelous me, hate tesco dot com
