Two WW2 bombs discovered well near and flippin' close to the railway line that I live next to are big enough to stop the commuter line to the City of London for the third day in a row while they teaspoon out the explosives stuff.
Result; massive numbers of poshly dressed people clogging up the checkout queues and parking in weird places and looking at everyone like we're backward country bumpkins.
What type of bomb? Like Captain Jack stopped for Doctor Nine.
Two just like that. Massive proper damage the whole street size. No really, they're still there buried around and about sixty years later. Look forward to more of this as they start to build stuff for the Olympics.
I love London. Thanks Cait, the pic works now.
Edit: Best report here with a cute portrait of the bomb and a cuddly map.
