Yes! I drove you through that very intersection!

Oh awesome! It was near the mall? Or closer to your place? And the great thing is, you can go there and stand in the exact same spot House is, and take a photo!

If you come to Sydney, I can show you were they filmed scenes from little known movies like Matrix and Superman that you are obviously won't fandom squee over!

It's right by my place. We went through the intersection on our way back from my grandmother's house. :>

I'll have to recruit one of my friends to go on a Match That Picture expedition!

Omg. I would love that. Two of my favorite superhero movies IN ONE VISIT. *HANDS* Seriously though, I *will* visit Sydney. I'm making it my personal vacation mission.

(OT: Didn't you have a picture to show me? ;D)

Oh geez. You win. Hands down. Or rather Lex wins, hands down.

Is Lex's superpower super cleaning? Because, no joke, Lex looks like Mr. Clean there ahaha.

LOL, reference lost on Arrch! Is Mr. Clean a character from a cleaning product?

Because we have Mr. Sheen here (he is a character with a bald shiny head who flagships a cleaning spray for ovens and stuff).

OH, ahaha, Mr. Clean is indeed a bald shiny headed mascot for cleaning agents. His characteristic pose is this, but he can be found in other, uh, dynamic poses as well.

That dirty Mr. Clean link looks very not-safe-for-work! I shall look at it when I get home. XD

Anyway, as a cleaning product cultural exchange, I shall present you Mr. Sheen.

Oh.

LOL, it's perfectly safe, I assure you, but probably you don't want that address turning up in your cache anyway ahaha.

I love how our cleaning product mascot has to have a tight white t-shirt and goddamn superhuman biceps to get anyone to buy the agent, whereas yours has a comb-over and wears a conservative business suit ahahaha.

I suspect that both were targetted at housewives in their respective eras and geographies (I know Mr. Sheen is from the 1960s) as the ideal male companion to help clean the house! We do have a product called Mr. Muscle, though there's no mascot (but I assume it would be some superhuman)!

But I agree, Mr. Clean does look like the domesticated love-child of Superman and Lex Luthor.

Mr. Clean is from the 1950's. And he has ALWAYS looked that way (he's put on additional muscle in recent years, but seriously. Always been a stud). He's supposed to be a genie, actually, a magical fantasy man who makes keeping house a SNAP and sexy.

OhGod, that would make Mr. Clean Superboy's brother. :(

A genie! Yes, that's the image I was getting! Hence the pose and everything! He's like an arian superbeing though! Ignoring the racial connotations, he looks like Shazan!

And much ROFL at the description!

Shazzan! / CBS
By connecting their rings, Chuck and Nancy can call forth the genie 'Shazzan'. The genie looked a lot like Mr. Clean.
