since june, and perhaps even before then, i had been preparing myself for the inevitable goodbyes that accompany the post-graduation days. out of my rather large group of friends, i will be saying goodbye to almost all of them; they're all going to schools outside the boundaries of this "local" radius that we have established for ourselves. only banny will stay near with me, here. not at apu with me, but at least at cal poly.
aside from her,my heart will break a little about a dozen more times. i've already had to say goodbye to three people i love so much. don't get me wrong, it's all very exciting, really... but still, it's always painful to admit and realize that distance may make the heart grow fonder, but won't always keep the relationship going.
