the day has gotten better!
my 20th birthday is in 9 days, on march 14. i'm very happy about such, since daddy has decided to let me venture on my own to the shire, provided i can find a good hobbit companion who knows the shire very well. any takers?
mom is reluctant in letting me go, seeing as it would be the first time i've ever left rivendell... and such a long journey, too! "be careful at weathertop" she says... "don't congregate with questionable fellows in bree" "don't let the ringwraiths give you strange gifts" you know, concerned mother-talk.
i'm enjoying the idea of it... i get to leave rivendell for the first time... and i won't have to deal with maedhros for any length of time during the journey. i hope the shire is as lovely as i imagined.
