So this is basically going to be one huge music post. I apologise to my F-list for this in advance.

Lets start with violin. Alright, violin exam in, assuming it's the....2nd today, two weeks ish. I don't think I'll fail, I really don't think I'll fail. Touch wood. I do know that I freak out under pressure when I'm playing the violin though. It's super uber-massively bad. I just want to do really massively well to prove that I'm not as awful a violinist as people think I am. Oh well. You know the sad thing is I can play my pieces just fine (touch wood, again) but my aural tests are freaking me out.

My Pieces: (I'm not -playing- in any of these recordings btw.)

List A - Allemanda by Vivaldi, Second movement of his Sonata in C minor (Op.2)

List B - Andaluza by Granados, No.5 from his 12 danzas espanolas.

List C - Song of the Ghetto arr. Edward Huws Jones, Traditional Gypsy.

They're all pretty nice especially compared to the rest of the syllabus list, the Romance by Glier is something I wanted to attempt, but there's much more interest in the Andaluza.

And my dearest brother, who's wedding I'm already composing for, asked the second dance to be Paginini's Caprice No.5, and I'm thanking my LUCKY STARS that the weddings not for a couple of years yet. XDDDDD

Of course, we're doing awesome things in SYO too. OMG WE'RE PLAYING AT THE EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL EEEEEE. And we have a concert coming up too, I think the repetoire is mainly Symphonic, I THINK we're doing:
- Night on Bare Mountain (Mussorgsky)
- Peter and the Wolf (Prokofiev)
- Bassoon...Concerto? Not entirely sure. (Elgar)
- Symphony No.1 (Beethoven)

Should be pretty good really. :D Apart from I can't play the Mussorgsky in 2/2. -Facedesk-

Moving on, in Euphonium and Singing (which get a brief mention in today's post 'cause I rambled about Violin T3T) I'm doing West Side Story. Which I think is an amazing co-incidence. I'm singing, 'Pretty,' and playing, 'Maria,' and, 'America.' Hopefully I'll find someone to duet, 'Somewhere,' too, because that's probably my favourite. :D And this ends my massive post. <3
