a three hour tour

Hey all...to those who knew I was going away on a cruise, I'm back as of late Friday. For those of you who didn't know, I was away all of last week on a cruise with family for my grandmother's birthday (which is way past, but we do what we can). It was fun. Unfortunately a little nausea inducing as we fought the rollicking waves of the Caribbean, stirred up by Hurricane Dean, but fun. there were things I certainly would have done, and probably will do, differently, but overall it was a good time. I have lots of observations from the whole thing but I've hardly even written them down in my pen-and-paper journal (yes I keep one of those, no you can't read :P ) and I just don't have the...whatever it is I need to get it down on "paper" now.

I will say this: there was a striking man on board who gave us some pretty good anti-seasickness advice whom I have decided to call John in my head. Don't ask me why, I just did. Wish I'd gotten his actual name. He seemed nice enough. One of the times he randomly passed me he was leading a passel of about 6 boys (maybe I'm exaggerating, but I don't think by much) through a very crowded hallway to take pictures. Anyway, striking man, older...my downfall ;)
