I don't think my hair was meant for curls. I'm messing around with hairstyles for Katheryns birthday do tonight, and well..my hair is too frizzy for curls. But i will persevere and combat this frizz of mine. It's a matter of principle now, dammit.
This week has been (suprise, suprise) as boring as hell! But there's been highlights. I met up with my friend
digital_psyborg on Sunday as he was in Brum for a little while before his coach journey home. That was very cool and i got Helsing DVD's to borrow at the end of it all...hoorah! Yesssss, i will watch them soon :P.
Wednesdays saw me lunching with Claudy, who persuaded me (like the bad girl she is) to have an all-you-can eat chinese lunch at the Big Wok. Oh, but it was worth it. I must say though, we were pretty good at not spending much else. Even when we waltzed into H&M and was met with it's completly awesome winter collection.
What else.... I sort of got a commission from my sister. She's paying me a fiver (hush! That is a lot to me at this moment in time) to do a drawing of her two friends for one of their birthdays. It came out
okay-ish, but maybe i should have gone a bit further and added some colour..
Oh yes, I finally picked up Roots Manuva's, Run Come Save me which is my album of the moment. I say finally, because i've been wanting that album for years, but once i discovered it on my uni network's shared iTunes folder, i just couldnt be arsed to buy it. Previously it was Tom Vek's, We Have Sound (which i highly recommend) filling my ears. Think of slightly subdued Beck and you've got an idea of Vek's sound. Although on the day of purchase, it was a long and hard decision between that and Clor's debut album. Does anyone have that album, by the way?
I'm going to toast some pitta breads. I can not get enough of toasted pitta breads right now.
