(no subject)
Heeeey, a proper update. Guess what? The semester is over in (nearly) a week's time! My first year of university has certainly flown by. And lord Nelsons underpants, for once i'm not rushing anything for next Fridays deadline. It's just a matter of tying up the loose ends. Well, tidying up the dump which is my sketchbook (seriously, how do my pages get so dirty? HOW?!) and finishing my narrative anaylsis. Oh, and starting post-production on zee film. Alrighty, maybe there's more to do than i thought.
Speaking of the film, it's going fantastic. The group i was put with are great and so far it's been the smoothest group project i've ever had. Lets see..Filming done? Check. Editing. Check. Sound recorded and mixed. You bet yo' ASS it's checked. Having a week to do all the effects is a bit....iffy (we have planned big things...like cheesy explosions) but even without them it's going to look sweet. All i can say to the other 8 groups...WE'RE GOING TO WIN, SUCKAAAAHS!*
I'm going to be home next weekend too. Not for the rest of the summer, just to start operation:move. Well, that started when i came back for easter, but the trip is solely to bring back the crap i want to keep with me over the summer. My friend Tom (one of my flatmates next year) has offered to look after my stuff for 4 months, considering he's a local Hull boy, so i'll have to decide what's worth taking. Man, how i wish it was for the rest of the summer. The sooner i move out of this shithole, the better.
Recently, i've come to the conclusion that even though i'm on an animation course, i'm not drawing nearly as much as i should be. See, this project to be handed in is a pixelation project, so y'know...no drawing to speak of. I've remedied this by delving into my sketchbook and sketch diary again. Mmmm...aimless doodles. Which i'll go and do now.
Oh yeah. One last thing...I'M GOING TO SEE THE FUCKING EELS!
