(no subject)
So some of you may have noticed that yesterday’s update was actually typed LAST Monday. Yes, I’m a crappy correspondent.
So what’s happened since then? Well, we’ve got our exchange student living with us. She’s a very nice girl from Rouen France & I’ve already decided I’m going to miss her when she goes home. Again, a very nice girl and 1/3 of the way into this we’re still having a very positive experience.
Notable excursions from the last week:
• Shopping at the outlet mall (at her request) - she had a list from her relatives of stuff to get
• Dinner at a Teppani style restaurant (they don’t have those in France and she enjoyed it)
• A drive-in movie
• Pizza at Regina’s in the North End followed by a free concert & walking around the city
• A trip to Craigville Beach
• Meeting with my kids’ friends
She’s currently in Vermont with my wife and oldest daughter - it’s C’s orientation at St. Michael’s.
Upcoming is a trip to the Vineyard on Friday & an MFA visit in Boston at an undetermined date/time.
Aside from that, nothing new. No word on Mrs’ test results.
