I am so sick of this school.
I don't fit in.
Considering, well you know, I'm smart.
Not to say that everyone here is an idiot, but HONESTLY, educate yourselves.
Turn on the news (try something other than Fox News please), read a book, or the newspaper....DO SOMETHING.
I'm sick of being surrounded by people that when they see a gay or lesbien couple, they shout "Ew, that is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen."
Or when they find out I'm bi, whenever I mention a girl, they ask me if I've slept with her.
I'm sick of being told that everybody in the media is liberal and everything they tell us is lies.
I'm sick of hearing people say that the world is a great place because George Bush is president.
I'm sick of people talking about George Bush like he is the Messiah.
I'm sick of being told that I must believe in God, and that I am horrible if I don't.
I'm sick of people not knowing what is going on in the world....or in their country....or even their state!
I'm sick of telling people FROM New York who is running for Governor and Senate when I'm not even from that state.
I'm sick of being called a racist from people that don't even know me.
And I'm sick of all the people here who are actually racist.
Most people here are wealthy conservative republican homophobes that just like th drink.
I don't mean to make generalizations like that, because that makes me just as bad as they are.
But I just sat in a class for an hour and a half surrounded by 15 people that fit that discription, including my teacher.
Oh, and I'm sick of people saying Green Day, or any type of music, "is not real music so nobody should care about it anyway." Music should be respected. No matter if you don't like it.
I just wish people here could see other ways of living other than their own.
Interact with people of other lifestyles.
Learn that they are not such bad people.
Instead of drinking one night, read a book. I have a few suggestions for you on what to read.
Instead of watching The Real World, watch the news.
I'm not saying I'm perfect and that my way of living is they right way and everyone should do it like I do.
I'm not saying that at all.
I'm just saying....accept other people's differences.
Just give it a shot.
