A Day Well Spent...

Oct 28, 2011 19:19

Had to stay home from class today, I had a touch of a stomach bug last night. (Sorry again that I got sick in your trash can Eduard, I didn't expect it to come on so fast!) But no worries, it was only a 24 hour thing it seems and spending today home alone was good for me. (Well, good for me, not for Berwald. I think he asked me twice if I wanted to ( Read more... )

Mad is actually a halfway decent cook. He's had to feed himself for a long time and he doesn't like to eat the same thing every day. Berwald is content, if I don't cook, to eat ham sandwiches every night, but Mads taught himself to cook to feed himself... he's just lazy and if he can get someone else to cook, and it be edible, he'll let them do it. I like how he makes breads and stuff. He loves pastries and stuff so he learned how to make those... it's rare to get him to cook but he told me he felt bad leaving me home alone and felt the household wouldn't suffer so much if he caught it from me than if Berwald did.

I will never forgive you bastards for what you did to my kitchen that night though. It's going to be years until you're all done hearing the end of it!

Gilbert wouldn't be a bad caregiver I bet. So long as you let him know what you needed I bet he'd rise to the occasion. He's rough around the edges, but I bet he takes good care of the people close to him. No wonder he and Mads are such good friends... they're a lot alike in a lot of ways. <3

I was corralled into filming that for them. I was a helpless victim in that whole venture, Ti. How was I supposed to stand up to all three of them together. I could handle Gil in most situations or any of them on their own, but the three of them together?

And I really do think Gil would be fantastic in the event that I got sick. He's the sweetest guy in the world when he gets the chance. Most people don't get the chance to see it, that's all. He has a secret soft, sweet and romantic side at timesand has once or twice given Berwald a run for his money in the sap department. Just no poetry or anything like that.

He's a good guy, I can tell now that I've gotten to know him a little better, but I still say HE'S the lucky one to have you. <3 Sorry, being sick has left me cuddly and appreciative of all my friends. I love you Veli. <3 You ready to go on Spring Break vacation with us? I'm not sure where we're going yet, but Berwald and Mads seem super excited about whatever it is. <3

Your surprisingly devious bear of a fiance hinted a while back that he had something good planned but he just wouldn't tell me what it was. He can be infuriating when he wants to be.

I will admit though that I am consoderably eager to find out what it is those two have in store. If it is anything like the boat trip then I'm certain it will be great. At least this time Gilbert won't be able to gatecrash the party and cause a big scene. Although that is a large part of his charm. He's a man that is prone to grand gestures and the like. It's sweet, really. Thr fact that he tries so hard is unbelievably endearing. Anywhom, I'm looking forward to spring break and a chance to step away from the classrooms amd textbooks for a little while.

Oh I hope wherever we go we can do some fishing one of the days. <3 I wonder if Mads has blabbed to Siguard yet. But, even if he did, Siguard's will is strong and he'd never tell us. v.v He's so good about surprises and not telling. It's hard for me. Hiding Berwald's christmas presents was hard enough! But whatever it is, we're all gonna do it as one big obnoxious family right? Or is your Ema expecting you home for break? I hope you can come with us!

I really want to come with the group if we do indeed end up going on a trip for break. I mean, look where the last group excursion landed me, right? Maybe if we're lucky, wherever we end up going will be close enough to allow for a quick stop off in Talinn. I know Ema's dying to meet Gil and the family hasn't seen you for a while. Not to mention they're all looking forward to meeting Berwald now that they know about you two. As loud and obnoxious as our bizarre motley family is, I honestly wouldn't trade it for anything and if we all decide to go somewhere for break, I'm on board. Off to a galaxy far, far away and all that.

Well, even if we don't end up near enough to Talinn, I KNOW your family is going to be in for it when we have our reunion in the summer. Oh goodness. Have our father's determined if we're doing it in Finland or Estonia this year? I've not asked my Isä yet, but it's almost around the time were they start reserving a campsite. I wonder which lake it'll be this year! I know your Ema is going to just molest Berwald and Gilbert! Can't you just see it? There's no way Gil is getting out of there without gifts of things like underwear with his name embroidered on it. (What idiot got your mother an embroidery machine for her birthday!? I think getting embroidered underwear from your mom was the weirdest gift she's ever made for me...) And Gil got her a puppy. He's as good as an actual son in law now!

It turns out Gil was quite right in his assumptions about the effects of getting my Ema that puppy. She has stopped nattering on to us about finding a way to give her grandbabies in the future. She is now preoccupied with the puppy. But she still is all gushing over Gil and I. The "gay" thing seems to never have ever had a possibility of adversely effecting anything. She loves him to bits already. You all keep warning him about your Mummi though and that has him a little paranoid.

You know what? I haven't heard yet where this year's reunion is. Where was it last year? So much has happened in the last few months that I find it difficult to remember sometimes.

Last year it was in Estonia, but it's not like we've never doubled up a year. It's all based on what and where our fathers can rent out the biggest chunk of campsite near a lake. XD

And yes, Gil still needs to meet Mummi approval as she is the head of JUDGMENT!

Like I said, I'm fine with it regardless of where it is because I just want to see everybody again. So much has happened to us all and so much has changed that it would be great to be able to see people face to face. I just pity Gil when Eevie gets her hands on him. All of the women, in fact. With his past being what it is you'd think he would have no problem being mobbed by a group of women. This time will be different though, I suppose. I'll just have to be there with a medic kit to repair him afterwards.

Oh we know Eeva can be all bark and no bite... be happy though. She loves you like part of her family, and she'd hate to see your heart broken. But don't worry. I'm sure once she meets Gil and he turns on his charms she'll be all 'oh why did I dislike you?' He's got the power to charm women... though I know it won't work on Mummi. Nothing like that ever does. She has to meet you, stare into your eyes, and then pass judgement!

Stare into GIL'S eyes? The bizarre albino redness of them might make him some sort of dangerous or strange creature in her book. I wonder if Siguard knows anything about the anomaly that was the source of his albinism. I mean...those eyes are the neatest and sometimes most unnerving things. Mmmmmm...me likes.

...back on topic! Jaa, I seriously can't wait until this summer. I felt bad and awkward leaving home early this winter, so I want to catch up on everything at the reunion. Plus, I really want to see the new puppy. Hana and him can have a good run around and expend all their puppy energy before terrorizing everybody, especially poor old Nukka.

Poor old Nukka, he's being surrounded by young wippersnappers preventing him from napping! We can have puppy races! See if Hana can outrun your ema's corgi!!!

As tiny as Hana is, she still has longer legs than the new puppy does. We'll see though. I promise I won't secure any accelerators or propellant devices to his back. Just a tiny cape.

So who do you think is going to be the first one at the reunion to get a little TOO drunk this year and make a boob of themselves?

... Well, the competition was usually between you, me, Eeva and our isäs. But now Gilbert's coming... ... I guess Gilbert. He could put us all to shame.

He really could. Despite his lack of body fat, it takes an astounding amount of alcohol to get that man drunk. Somewhere in the incredibly good looking albino body of his there's a special gene that allows a person to drink like a fish. He's pretty good at regulating it though. He doesn't do it all the time anymore. It's just a skill he hauls out for special occasions.

Oh dear...are they purposely going to try and get him TOO drunk so they can ask him all sorts of questions or get him to do REALLY stupid things???
