I Believe I May Be Back
Over the summer I wasn't actually afforded a lot of time to just sit and loaf about on my computer for hours. During the day I was tasked with running around and with situations at McDonalds (namely it felt like someone quit every few weeks and all our new people are shite and not properly trained yet, I was pulling extra hours and sometimes even double shifts **namely coming in for a short shift in the early morning to cover for someone on morning crew then coming back in the evening for my own 5-6 hour shift**)) So even when I did have some time on my computer my creativity was mostly drained and I had nothing to devote into writing. I tried once or twice to write a dennor to post here outlining how this RPs Mathias and Siguard got together but every time I started it kind of proved to be crap and I deleted it. Even getting on to scroll tumblr has been difficult and I confess that actually any posts you see from me on there were mostly reblogged from my phone while I was sitting and waiting on someone. While tumblr is nice on my phone it's too hard to write a story response on LJ with the tiny text keyboard so I don't do much writing with it. But, I digress.
Now I'm back to school and while I'm going to be busy with school and work there is down time up at campus where I am alone and no one is going to call me away to go collect this, or run someone up to this store, or go find this or put that away. It's so nice and peaceful to be on when I can actually dedicate some time to peaceful thought and maybe refoster my creativity.
Also, I'm not taking any EDUs this semester, all history and an english, which means that while I'll be spending a lot of time reading and doing research for papers, I won't be losing out on time going to student teaching or doing convoluted lesson plans or projects in addition to papers and research. If I have down time with most of my work accomplished for the day I would love nothing more than to be back here and involved with you guys again.
But, as I've had a busy summer, I would like to ask for a quick catch up. I've been gone so long that if tasked with reading every post I missed in order to catch up I'll never find the motivation to make it, so something summarized will be great, and I know the Erik arc has been in limbo so long, I'm sorry. Starting my second break today I'll be moving back into that. Also, just in general I've missed you lovely fuckers.
