semester is over!
And it feels weird. I guess I was so busy this fall that the time just flew by.
The snow has been falling steadily the past week or so. The ice on the sidewalks is hard to negotiate but it's so lovely to walk at night when the air is really still & huge snowflakes are drifting to the ground...or this morning, when I walked to the market with Sonia & Sean, the sun was bright but it was chilly and snowed a bit.
Lastnight was Natasha's tree trimming party. I love when everyone gets together like that. We played the most entertaining game of pictionary...hah. It was also Zara's birthday so I hung around for that a bit. I'm constantly surprised at how messy my roommates' friends are - whenever people come to hang out, or spend the night after going out, the house becomes a complete mess...we cleaned yesterday before people came over & somehow this morning the floors were all sticky, there were cards and dishes and bottles and napkins everywhere....and a broken cooler bottle in the bathroom. Am I crazy? Maybe I just have really neat friends...but at least my roommates clean up after it. haha.
Scampi was adorable this morning. Two of my roommates were practically mauling her and she just sat there enjoying herself. The she went nuts on her slinky throwing it around & digging at it. lol.
Tonight is volunteer appreciation at the Pennywhistle...I hope people come.
I met some interesting people in the past couple weeks. I like it.
This was pretty pointless, but I need to get back to note-making before the volunteer thing tonight. I'll leave you with another quote (from Written on the Body)
