There's a new kind of challenge community:

artword

A community for artists and writers. Challenges are nicely long (3 weeks, I think), and people always work in teams: one writer and one artist. I simply love the idea! To make the start easier, the first two challenges are solo work.

Sounds like an interesting idea! Would you be interested in trying this as a team sometime in the future, when you're feeling better? Deadlines are pretty much the only way I ever get anything done, so challenges are good. And I'm still in awe of your talent with icons.

Ooh yes, yes! Definitely! It's part of what's so intriguing about the challenge. I would really like to work together with my writer friends. I envy your talent with words, but all I can do is beta, and... well, this way, it's a more equal thing.

I am just afraid that I might not always make the deadline and thus disappoint not only me but also my partner. Because I tend to take on too much and then have to drop some of my workload on short notice. But I am hoping that three-week challenges are long enough for me to always deliver...

If you'd like, I'd definitely be willing to team up with you! Yay!

Great! And don't worry too much about the deadline - if you don't make it in time, I'll still have a finished story that I can just post to my LJ and the noticeboard instead, so that's no problem.
