Really glad you're continuing to enjoy this series!

(English title is just Moon over Soho, btw, no 'Black' in the title)

I'm in agreement with most of the things you say -- I liked the way Lesley's injury was handled, I liked Peter's unreliable narrator thing here, enjoyed the break from the Rivers, thought the Strip Club of Dr Moreau was handled with adequate horror and sense of tragedy, and thought Simone and sisters killing themselves was BA taking the easy way out, so that's kind of my main complaint about this book.

I've heard BA's son is Black, but don't know much more about what he's drawing on for the authenticity of Peter's experience.

I do think the distance between Peter and his father is intentional, and I ended up liking the way Peter's past was handled, although it takes several books to actually get there.

Oh, thank you! I'll fix that.

Oh, good!

It's been a while since I read it, but I wasn't the biggest fan of this one even though I love the series.

Peter's dad is weird. I feel like BA backtracks on the distance between them after a while without giving us a proper reason why. I never really liked him.
