crossposter broken again
hey you guys,
the crossposter is broken again, and has been since at least June 22nd.
I have made six posts since then. One of them is f-locked, but the rest were icon and picspam posts, so you can see them, too, even if I don't have you added on dw:

I don't really know what to do about this, because lately the crossposter seems to be broken more than it is working, and this is not a tenable situation.
It is mainly LJ's fault for not acknowledging DW's servers as trustworthy, so LJ is blocking them again and again.
But DW is also not yet willing to try and minimize the damage (e.g. by blocking users quicker whose password is wrong, or by changing their server landscape or whatever). They would need to get creative here, and so far they haven't.
If LJ keeps blocking them, I won't bother crossposting anymore, because it's a hassle to check every day and then repost every single post that it missed.
But: I will immediately add you if you move to DW. Just let me know!
DW has been steadily growing, and especially the Guardian (and other Asian dramas) fandom is very active on DW, so if you consider moving, there are lots of people there to connect with.
The iconmaker community is not as professional as on LJ, lacking its long history, but quite a few people now have accounts on both sides, and shameless666 for example is even running a DW challenge comm, so it's not a complete wasteland. *g*
