The best fics I have read this past month - 4 Black Sails + 1 SPN
The monthly fic post has been working well, I think. So here's the third!
I'm leaving out all the fic I read for the gay movies I watched, because obviously you'll need to have seen the movies first (and in the case of "Love, Simon", they are very very spoilery). I will make a separate rec post for those once there are enough to rec and once I've posted all the reviews.
Almost all of what's left is Black Sails, and most of these are OT3 fics. I'll fight you for all the fix-it threesomes! I also found quite a few vid recs last month, and thought I'd include them here.

The world has changed greatly in the six centuries since their banishment into the void, but the task isn't impossible. Unfortunately for Castiel, this is going to involve talking to people - especially the Knight Prince who has taken an interest in Castiel and his "costume" wings. (Destiel Cinderella AU)
My Summary: Don't let the "Cinderella AU" tag scare you. The setup is taken from the fairy tale, but the plot has only the vaguest resemblance to Cinderella. What it does have is great worldbuilding, wonderful slow burn, and excellent characterization. I knew it was worth subscribing to this author, even though I haven't read anything of his in years.
