Yay, I'm thrilled to hear you loved this one! This is one of my favorite Miles books, because Galeni is my favorite character (I was very happy he didn't die either) and Mark is another huge favorite of mine.
Like you, I'm quite meh on Miles's sex life, but I do like that he's consistent about imprinting on women and trying to bring them home to settle down while they really want something totally different out of life, and get it.

It is pretty hilarious, yes, and I like that it's not the easy pairing off of characters that often happens in novels (in Bujold's, too). But she always writes great female characters, which is so much fun to read.

It is pretty hilarious, yes, and I like that it's not the easy pairing off of characters that often happens in novels (in Bujold's, too). But she always writes great female characters, which is so much fun to read.
