Thank you! I'm sure I'll be fit for work again on Tuesday.
It's a little funny how many things we seem to have in common when it comes to books.
It is! It's great to hear! I think your English is perfectly fine.
It's funny how much HP influenced me when I didn't really respect the canon works that much. Fandom can make such a huge difference.
I am more addicted to audiobooks than physical books
Ah, that's definitely something we don't have in common. :D
I am a very visual person. I cannot follow a book by listening to it. I simply think about other things and miss everything that's going on. One of the worst weeks of my life was the week I had to lie in bed with a concussion, unable to read. I listened to audiobooks (Harry Potter, hee) in that week, and I hated it with a passion. I kept having to rewind because I'd missed stuff. And I was lying in bed with my eyes closed and nothing else to do! Audiobooks are not for me.
I think haven't bought any paper books in years.
I don't know, I haven't read more than two e-books that I can remember. Both were not available in printed form, and I had to force myself to continue. (Still haven't finished the GoT book 4/5 combination, but I'm set on reading it in that order, and there is no printed version of that.)
It's just that whenever I'm on my laptop, I'm reading fic, nothing else. ;)
I am going to check out the The Rifter now, as well as your rec lists. :)
Thank you! Have fun! And feel free to ask me details about any and all of them. (If you love scifi and we seem to have so many favorites in common, you definitely have to read Peter F. Hamilton, if you haven't already. (Why did that meme not have a "favorite author" question?))
The Reality Dysfunction, which says it's the first of a trilogy. It was looking all intriguing on a shelf, and I'd eyed those books in a bookshop before. It's also massive.
And I used to read all those massive fantasy doorstoppers when I was younger, so while it's a bit daunting as well, I kinda look forward to repeating the experience!
