Theiconthrone Texture Challenge

Challenge #21 at theiconthrone asked for textures. There were three types to choose from: a list of prompts, a color palette (which is currently broken so I skipped that), and a number of source textures. I made two sets from prompts, and one from a paper texture. Man, this was so much fun! I found the prompt battle so irresistible, I made two sets (even though I'll only get points for one).







The 100x100 versions are only preview crops from larger (mostly 800x500) textures. You can still use them as is if you prefer 100x100, of course. :D

Battle #1 - Set 1
The prompts (for both sets) are as follows:
frame + black & white ~~ paint + red ~~ shapes + bright colors ~~ light + diagonal ~~ muted + grunge

These were made from personal photographs, except the red paint, for which I don't know the source.
