theiconthrone challenge #14 asked to share our favorite resources.

Difficult, since I have thousands of icon textures and over 2000 fonts on my computer. So I decided to concentrate on my favorite style - painting - and share resources that can be used for that. All of these resources look great on icons and are exceptionally well suited for creating a grungy, painted, handmade style.



FONTS

My favorite fonts are script fonts, because I find they fit the painted style best. All of these are available from dafont.com and are free for personal use.
















TEXTURES

All of elli's textures are very high quality scans, and these are of real paint:
